  1. Anyone who knows anything about cars would not respect a Boxter driver!! I know I don’t, I wouldn't look twice at them, I view them in the same light as a Toyota Corolla....but if you want to delude yourself that you own a Porsche and that is impressive then it’s your prerogative!!
  2. Man its hard to know what you'd really want, but if u want something that has some punch and doesnt look too bad id consider this.... 0-100km/h in 5.4secs P.S - A Porsche Boxter is the cheapest of all the porsche's, i see ppl drive them and think that they are king d!ck but i feel sorry for them. Its like ordering the salad at McDonalds....why bother
  3. Lol, I just had a quick look at that website, it is interesting but not sure how reliable it is, heres one example about the r32 gts-t that it gave: Rear Spoiler: No Plus it says it has 15" wheels which is news to me
  4. As mentioned above, im pretty sure this thing would give that CLS a run for its money as 'fastest police car'...and looks better imo...
  5. Oh i should just clarify, the starting problem actually seems to be still there, its spiratic though, sometimes its fine, starts instantly, others takes 3 times, but after it does start, 20 seconds later its idling perfectly. So yeah that is wierd ill look into that, but its driving fine right to 7,000rpm and idles sweet (but the guy raised that to bout 800rpm whereas before it was 500rpm and would hunt a fair bit) Which brings me to ask what do other ppl hav their skylines idle at, cause i know idle hunting is very common for skylines.......i think 800 is a resonable number
  6. Soory for the delay, been busy, but im pretty sure this is the small pipe that was replaced, i was eating at the time he took it off so i didnt 100% see....
  7. Nah its at the other end of the engine, near the aac valve, ill post up tomoro....
  8. Yeah its pissing down outside now, but next available chance i will take and post pic, and yes it had serious issues starting sometimes, others it would be fine, but more often than not id have to try 2 or 3 times... all good now
  9. Well the r32 (i think) had gold badges on the limited 60th anniversary edition, but hard to see from pic below:
  10. Well for those who are interested... PROBLEM SOLVED After being introduced to a friend of a friend, we got talking, and I found out he owns an r32 gts-t also, and is a mechanic!! He had rebuilt his rb20det and knew a lot about them. Took my car to him and he discovered a pipe connected to the fuel pressure regulator was split in 2 places and barely hanging on. Replaced that and he raised the idle and it was fine, revvvvs out beautifully and sits perfect at 800pm at idle and doesn’t fluctuate.... all this fixed for next to nothing, meaning the $300 spent to date was wasted... at least its fixed !!!!!
  11. Hahaha, yeah because theres never been a better way of telling a GTR than by the indicators, cause you can never change them!!!! As mentioned above I agree with gettin back to pictures, and i realise the irony in posting a reply with no pictures but D_I_F's comments were rediculous....made me laugh though!
  12. His profile says he owns an r32 gtr...... And yeah i wasnt gunna get them cause I already know the rims i want, but they do look really nice!!! I prefer non-dish rims personally but those are very nice, one of the cleanest ive seen...
  13. Yeah it seems like it, cause i was gunna say WTF
  14. I just thought the way he described the girls in the picture next to your car was not that nice, but anyway.....
  15. fair enough, i like your car though, nice rims man, what are they?
  16. Just to clarify, do you actually own a car, and is it a skyline or is it all in 'fantasy land' when you 'grow up'?
  17. Where did you get those clear indicators? and how much were they?
  18. Oh dear Julian!!! If ever there was a time to rethink the freedom of speech....it would be after reading this article
  19. They are sweet, reminds me of mine and my mates, we both have gunmetal grey r32 gts-t's... once i have some rims on mine ill have to do like you and get some shots of the two of them together...
  20. If you ask me, the fact that you needed to start a poll to find out if a gtr is worthile (i.e more pro's than con's) means you probably shouldn't bother. Most people who own them love them, like all cars it isnt goin to do everything 100% perfect, but it has an incredible reputation and deservedly so...
  21. Hey man, very nice car, love the rims. Your car must be quite rare over there?? I know a few ppl brought in gtr's over there but getting a gtr over there and running it would be very expensive I imagine. I would not have thought there would be as many gts-t's cause if people are going to all that expense might aswell get a gtr... so how common is a car like yours??? I know when I was in Ireland over christmas and telling my cousins what I drive they could not believe it, they said I could never insure a car like that there and they pay an absolute packet to insure even a 1.6litre clio or something...i saw 2 skylines in the 5 weeks i was there
  22. Haha, yeah very true, commowhores are just not in the same league, last time i was in one, when the driver selected reverse (it was an auto) the whole car shifts up ever so slightly then drops what feels like and inch or two...the engines in them cars is also soo unrefined, when pushed they sound like a mangy dog that is begging to be put down cause even he cant stand the sight or sound of himself....
  23. Thanks for your help, my mate has a 32 gts-t like me, so I can try that then and ill put in a new petrol filter if that doesnt work and see...
  24. The 206kw figure that was listed by Nissan was not realistic and only given as there was a gentleman's agreement in japan that no japanese car manufacturer would produce a car with more than 206kw. You will find a few japanese cars with that magic 206kw figure in their brochures. Multiple sources list the real power output of the GTR being more like 320hp (240kw) at the engine obviously...
  25. Hrmmm, Thats quite a generality if you ask me... I judge each car on its individual merit, the engines in the 33/32 are very similar obviously so if they are looked after then either can be in good nick and likewise if not looked after, both can be heaps....
