  1. I have a 93 R32 GTS-T and the fuel light does not light up when turning on the ignition. And incase you are wondering, the fuel light in my car does work because it came on today when i parked at work, i parked on the side of the road and the road dips a lot into the ditch so the car was on an angle and the light was on. When i pulled away after work the light wasnt on and the fuel gauge rose a bit again, but regardless it had done 500km so i knew it was time to fill up, but it took 51.5lts, so it wasnt terribly low!
  2. Can you be a bit more specific about what cars you are considering. Fair enough you have looked for non-turbo r32's but what "home built" cars are you considering? and what other imports? In my opinion it is easier to find a stock r32 gts that gts-t etc, cause more people are likely to do up the turbo models. Also, sorry for this question, but what exactly is the new P-Plate restrictions in Queensland?? is it just no turbos no matter what???
  3. Hrmm, yeah cause r33's go for heaps more than r32's dont they..... how much is docking at the harbour for your r33?? do you need a boat and a car license to steer it...
  4. I can see why you drive a 33....
  5. Hahahaha.... well i hav heard that 300 twin turbo is not the best car goin round and that it can be troublesum car at this stage of its life.. 32's I can speak from personal experience, its a great car to drive i get about 10lts/100km (98RON) or a little over which is pretty good, and i dont drive like im driving miss daisey. If you get one be prepared to look at quite a few, there are a lot of very bad examples around, but if you do get a good one and look after it it should serve you well and you will luv hopping into it everytime you drive it!
  6. Yeah thats what i was figuring. I dont think ill bother with it unless im doin other mods cause it doesnt seem worth it, except you would think on hot days your car would be more willing to go that before, cause i notice mine was not as willing on a few of them really hot days a week or so ago. Thanks for the reply and nice car...
  7. Damn, man if you were in melb I would take that front strut off ya hands
  8. Car looks good man... Sorry to post this question here, but what other mods have u got with the fmic? i was thinking of getting one but im told the car will be more laggy and it seems as if the car is not boosted that it will not be any faster?? Your experience would be MUCH appreciated
  9. Here's mine and my friends r32's.....almost twins.......guess which one is soon to get rims and lowered....
  10. It might be worthwhile gettin this thread moved to the "photography" section, as there's threads in there for r32 pics, r33 pics and r34 pics, but not yet r31's...but nice cars guys!
  11. If you are gunna do it in a different colour (i.e black) then deffinately matte..otherwise its too close to the factory colour if gloss and just looks like you didnt get it matched when spraying... imo
  12. Not as guilty as your mum
  13. I forgot to put this one up, took this when at the nismo factory in japan Dec '06.. my dream car!
  14. .......... thats like a 700 pound american telling someone that they need to look at their diet and exercise because their weight is becomming a problem...
  15. Fair enough, that it is!! Still a tuff looking car though...
  16. What gives you the right to say what kind of son I am, you dont know me or my dad.. "remember that" ...who do you think you are??
  17. Hey man, love your car, and i dont mean to bag anyones ride, but i really dont get the mis-matched colour spoiler... i honestly reckon it'd look 1 million times better with that thing ripped off or the standard gtr wing!
  18. I don't understand how you drive a car like that if your Dad is half as rich as you say he is and can buy a car with money no object yet for his son he buys a $20k econo-box... If my Dad was like that there'd be fu*k all chance of me hleping him buy himself yet another car...
  19. To clarify, $110,000 was the list price of the r32 GTR in Ausralia: http://www.redbookasiapacific.com/au/vehic...hp?key=NISS91ER
  20. Haha, that comment is gunna piss off a lot of ppl on this forum... prepare for the backlash...
  21. Definately, i remember at the time searchin carsales for all cars in the price range.... I went through every single page to see what else ther was before i set my heart on the skyline... Not a single car i would like, some i would consider but no where near as good as a skyline!
  22. Im not arguing over which is better, they are both great cars. People drift s15's and they are more expensive again. I honestly feel the r32 is a better car for drifting cause more ppl use it. In japan the 33's and 32's go for pretty much the same, so i dont think its price. That said the r33 has the better engine. Your more than welcome to express your opinion as am I mine, i was just thinking that comparing a sedan and coupe of 2 different models is an un-even basis for comparison. Although i was more of a smart-ar$e when saying that... sorry :PBJ:
  23. Nah, common mistake... mine didnt come with that kit but it is a type m. im sure if u get your car through fast you'll find that its a type m also. A non type-m is rare as, almost all of the ones in aus are type m
  24. M-spec is related to GTR's.. what makes you think you haven't got a type m then?? There is a thred on this forum called Nissan FAST.. if you pm whover it is on their or post up your VIN/ENGINE # they will give you the info on your car like build date etc (like a screen dump from the database). Also in one of the sections like on mine it will say GTST.M. I'd be suprised if it doesnt have the "M" on yours if you have 4 pot calipers..
