We entered both the Temora 1000 and the Snowy Mountains 1000. I see a few other 35's on the entrants list. Anyone else from on here?

Well based on both of our experiences I would say that Nissan Aus will replace the cluster warranty or not. Which is good news for anyone that has not had this happen yet as it is only a matter of time before it does.

A pair of 25mm wheel spacers. USA made, insane quality the best I have seen. $200.

They have agreed to replace the dash cluster but not the flywheel housing. Next is a call to Nissan Aus for an explanation.

I have had the flywheel rattle from pretty much new but it has got a lot worse over the last 3 months. Funny enough just after the car ended warranty it got significantly worse. I have it at idle and under slight acceleration in forwards and reverse. I have a video clip of it at its worst which sounds like a rattling exhaust comming from the rear of the engine. PM me your phone number and I'll text it to you if you want. The degree of noise changes daily, sometimes it is ok and other days it sounds like your driving an old Falcon.

Mine goes in Wednesday for them to look at the Dash cluster and the Flywheel housing. Both TSB's in almost all countries except Australia. My car is now out of warranty. They have advised that they may still replace both items but will need Nissan Australia permission. I can assure you that if they do not replace both parts free of charge I will get REALLY pissed off and wont just stop with a strongly worded letter to Nissan Aus. I will keep you posted. FYI the flywheel housing replacement is around $6000 for Nissan to do it and they had one being replaced the day I rang up to book in. So they know it's a problem.

Hey Snowy, I have an SD tune in mine at the moment with the 3inch intakes and am getting a huge backfire on acceleration on 98 as well. Going back to the MAF tune until I can get the MAF delete loom here. Then back to the SD tune and see what happens.

When it's written on the shifter Auto and Manual mode how else are you going to describe it to someone. The characteristics of the vehicle change dramatically when shifted to each mode. Its a Auto when in Auto mode and its a manual with no foot operated clutch when in Manual mode. If you can convince me that a manual is not a manual unless it has a clutch pedal then its not a manual.

I don't think there is anything super special about the R35. In the end it is still essentially nuts and bolts. Any shop that is a GTR specialist should have no trouble in looking after a 35.

You don't get a jack. I find it strange that they still have the provision there. At first I thought my jack was gone but then I was told otherwise.

Yeah we must be going to different Nissan dealerships.
