  1. there are a few. However make the effort to go to Centerline Suspension in thomastown. Pretty mucht he best place to go and know a fair bit about the skyline setup.
  2. I used the following King Spring combination with the Bilstens: KDFL-101 - 175lb/" / 3.1kg/mm KDRL-61SP - 185lb/" / 3.2kg/mm My car handles fantastic. And I hadn't installed the swaybars at this stage.

  5. I was involved with some testing and work on a number of those systems when they were first installed. makes me feel good it all worked. The fire monitoring system is really just a long fiber that monitoris temp change form memory...which in turn activiates the water systems. I remember cos when this was made ppl still had the French tunnel fire in mind when bulidng this. I wonder how they liked the exit signs....I chose them back in my uni days.. There are about 22 links form the burnely to the domain...so thats what they block both ways, to use the other for escape.

  12. I think about 270 or so is the max. THats what i get after some crazy attempts to get more out of it...I did get more but it was right on the edge of efficiency with mine and the tune was a bit too lean. 260-270 with all the supporting mods seems to be good enough IMO unless ur ready for a rebuild in the not to distant future.

  16. So have I. seems to be great. I have a 100RON joint near my house..I only drive the car 1 time per week so the extra cost means nothing to me.

  19. does DT at calder count? I assume yesm however it wasn't a great day for high speed and breaking...although good for ppl like me who were noobs with a rwd with street tures on a slipperly track. Even if the answer is yes to the above question, would it be a good idea to do DT again? I really just wanna do a few laps and my own speed and build some experience and confidence.. From memory they timed the DT laps last time also.
  20. god I dunno how many times this comes up. 1 intake mod rule in vic. This means 1 intake mod...not two or 1.5 So technically u have modified ur intake. No FMIC for u however I agree this one is borderline as its the stock box. If I was you I would have just cut a hole in ur stock intake duct around the IC pipes...I have done this and u cant see the hole on the inside where i have heat reflective material and its sealed. I dont like the holes on the outside as it sucks up hot air. If u connected that to a new duct i would lke it. But this will help u when running some bigger numbers and you intake pipe wont collapse....then if u can run those numbers u have a new turbo anyway which is another mods and hence...u now have 3 intake mods. btw the pod noise its ghey...why would u want to impress ppl with that? I hate it...I like the stealth stock box spool noise..
  21. not always a definative thing the knock reading....Just look for consistant reads say above 30-40 if this is happening then I would get your tune looked at. If your running under 20 all the time with an occasional hic-up I wouldt be too stresed.
  22. stocl ecu must be ur issue....upgrade...SAFC/PFC/Emanage...etc
  23. No traffic cop is gonna sus you out for a chipped ecu. If your being sent to the EPA for testing....I assume you would return most things back to stock - including the ECU. If its been chipped buy a stock ECU for 30 bucks I see them all the time. If your really worried buy a backup ECU when u do the upgrade. PFC users should keep their stock ones for this purpose. Thats my point.
