  1. Funny enough I had a meeting with their senior australian mgt scheduled for Monday...maybe I'm paying for lunch this time? I will be able to pick up some good comss guys cheap however..which is great for me.
  2. lol if u think so Nortel has no busines here anymore = dead. the ditched their WiMAX business last year which was the sign they were over. Bye Bye...
  3. Ive recently been using the united 100 as my car has been tuned for 100. Its great, knock levels are actually better on the same tune. Dont care about ecconomy at all, just knock and power. I'm now testnig a E85 blend and slowly adding in more timing to the tune..e85 is the shit, havnt done a dyno but knock is staying ok with a few more degreess accross the map everywhere. ethanol is great! just dont spill it on ur paint..
  4. Dumbest thing these days to to buy stock as to week later u will want to spent another 5-10k only stuff - 100% guaranteed. So save your self hassle and money and go find one that alreayd has good mods as they wont be selling for much more - then enjoy the line...Just becuase you didnt do the mods doesnt mean they havnt been done properly or its reliable. Check out their workshop for a background. stock power = the suckness.
  5. did u see I lost a silencer out of one of my cannons...dunno how that happened. Id beed down a warnambool overnight so had 2x the GOR and was over it by then and just cruised alone from A.Bay awsome day though.
  6. spotted Dez at Apollo Bay looking for a park, the Rays rims looks pretty sweet. home to had a good drive home (if u were comming home)
  7. Is it the guy in Ferntree Gully? He is diong some great stuff.
  8. ps3 for me I used mine as a media centre mainly and the blueray player. The ps3 blueray player is better than most standalone players out there, it loads much faster than many I have used. Although now I have a standalone media centre PC, the ps3 works pretty awsome - and easy to setup for that matter. Just by the ps3 remote and off u go.
  9. here is mine I did myself, I think next time I will just send them to craved also..
  10. should fit , mine does...they didnt have the compacts in stock at my place so for the moment I went the on the covers...btw thats for the new rocker fittings, they are awsome!
  11. these seem to be quite similar to my setup which I have had for a few years. Tuned with all the right mods and its consistantly making 270rw kw and has done so on a number of dynos hub corrected and roller so i'm confident its about this figure. I paid like 1k back then, pushes a good 1.2/3 bar and has done for some time now. I really like the response and I'm sure this would be similar.
  12. wow old thread HPR30 is actually 20W60 will take some more time to warm up to temp. shit for a street car and infact you will do more damange than good, just use a 10w40 for street Ryco oil filters are pretty much the shittest you can get, see the Oil thread in general for more info.
  13. I just looked on the United web site, cos my car is tuned for 100 but hasnt been driven much since it ran out, to my suprise : premium100 is currently only available in Albury & Bayswater in Victoria and now Blacktown (Sunnyholt Rd), NSW. Smiles : Bayswater is not far from me at al!

    Choosing A Car

I seocnd Accord or golf Golf. Having driven them both on and off for a year they both seem nice. However my pic atm is a 2nd hand 350z which these days are at good value.
  16. Duncan I would like some seats, such a great price for the pair. I would like the Carrera style as I think they look pretty hot. I also need some rails, looking to get more headroom with the helmet, any suggestions - I have a R33 GTST. Cheers Chris. also pm sent with same message...
  17. I'm sure that will inspire a helpful response form all the good folk at SAU.
  18. thats fair enough, I would go further to say pay off all ur debts first which was my initial point and not buy a car u need finance for if u are really worried abuott he current situation.
  19. do what I did, instead of going up...go down. We dug a pit into the garage floor with proper drainage, its about 5 foot deep and about the 3/4 length of an r33 and the width the inside of your tyres on most cars. Was much easier and is very safe given the ammount of concrete used....I dont trust thsoe cheap ones. Has some nice wooden covers and is great for storing drinks if u want them to be cold and the fridge is full! I makes fluid changes a 1min job, and I have a seat under there to sit down and do any work...makes life pretty easy going If u havnt got 3 phase, then u will need it and that will cost u enough in itself.
  20. one piece of advice regardless of ur choice if u cant afford it, then dont buy it. if ur current car is ok then just keep it until u can. Thank me later when you realise how much its actually costing u when you have a serious loan i.e. home loan in the future.
  21. I have some dmax guards for the r33 and they suck...anyone want them? going to a good home for free in Vic...
  22. Nice work. Thats exactly what I have found. I'm running this model in my FTO and they seem great overall. I have been running the B-SPECs in my R33 on the track a bit with good results also.
