  1. wait till you go across a road/train intersection....hate those.....
  2. how many times would you change your ride height in a year anyway?
  3. i believe the TIENs have one that you can adjust electronically from within the cabin.
  4. Ohlins..... depends on how you'll want to car to handle most of the time, be it for drags/circuit or street use.....of course budget comes into play... nothing too hardcore or stiff or you'll be bouncing off your seat on the roads around here....
  5. oh....you guys should try using the simulation tires. Get some light mods such as suspension, ECU, exhaust and drivetrain(2-way LSD)....great for some low speed drifting in cars like the S13s and 180SXs...no need for 500+HP machines. my favourite is the AE86 'Shigeno' Trueno:D
  6. I always thought that 'PS' stands for powerstroke?
  7. was this with lowered tyre pressure btw?
  8. wow 13.9 with 9pounds? much potential there....
  9. as Roy said, the easiest way to tell is to pop the hood, look in the upper right corner of the engine bay, there'll be a greyish rectangular block with lines going off somewhere..... you can't do a burnout properly if you have ABS i'm told....or at least i haven't succeeded at doing so....
  10. i had the crunching problems like you've described before, try using Redline Shockproof gear oil, solved all of the crunching issues, as well as for alot of others...look for threads in the 'Maintenance' section... btw that whining noise may be your gear bearings....
  11. Carmageddon...splat as many peds as you can:D....
  12. aren't the Vertex kits made by T&E?
  13. yep...i got one...so did my previous 180SX..it's mandatory...
  14. i wonder if it's similar to the ones they used in the 400R?
  15. I might be interested too...would like to know what materials are used though...
  16. dun know why it's so expensive here....i bought it in singapore for $340aud....i can imagine it would be even cheaper in m'sia:D oh...just a note, the spring in the SSQV,unlike other brand BOVs doesn't alter the pressure of the smaller valve, it only alters the pressure of the bigger valve within.
  17. "For the love of the game" should be renamed "For the love of God please stop making movies!!"
  18. i don't think the fact that whether if it's new or not will affect how loud it is, if it's the exact same model BOV you're comparing....unless your 2nd-hand SSQV is stuffed....faulty spring etc etc.... also depends how much boost you run, and if you have a FMIC(which i have btw)...dunno how much difference will it make in regards to the mounting position though, mine's mounted where the stock one use to be.... if you want just the loudest ones around, get the BLITZ DD...it can get really loud....as well as the higher end GFB ones....
  19. GFBs pulleys are available for SR20s and WRXs.....haven't seen them make one for the RB25 yet... the TRUST ones i found were only available to the RB26
  20. i may be wrong but i reckon the gold fins are the same, just colored gold either that or it emits an even higher pitched whistle if thats even possible??
  21. depends on what sound you want...the whistling gets old after awhile....i'm using the purple one cos it's more quiet at lower revs...you can only hear it vent fully at full boost.
  22. just discovered some prick left a 3inch key mark on my bonnet NOT HAPPY! vandalism should be classified as a mental disorder.... :chairshot
  23. the purple thingy is sorta an accessory fin, makes the sound more discreet.....compared with the standard fin anyway... i can loan you my stock fin if you want....haha...
