  1. haha...i got owned..... actually i should have said "out of the performance engines I that i know of...." well i learned something 2day......
  2. Most of the later model engines have some form of variable timing in them(Later SR20s/RB25s) but i don't think Nissan has a habit of putting that into the engine's code designation....
  3. well of cos the SR will be long retired by the time the S16 designs get drawn up....just curious becos of the engine codes.... QR=Engine designation? 20=I'm guessing capacity of 2L VET= here's where i'm confused...don't Nissan normally have a 'D' somewhere to denote dual cams? What does 'V' mean? A V-series engine?
  4. QR20VET?? I'm guessing that'll be an inline engine?
  5. i guess it's largely a different sort of street racing in the shutoko battle(01 version?) it's more high speed 'wangan' style isn't it? haha...next on my list.
  6. i found that out from playing the arcade version....
  7. wat model civic is it? EG? EK? VTi? GLi? PS: I'm not sure it will fit entirely depending on what engine you have, assuming if his is the B18 Type-R
  8. next time the cops can just go: "I think you're speeding....therefore you are...heres your ticket"
  9. Get the game...it's awesome! stayed up late playing it.....a pain in the beginning as you're given peanuts to start with....but once the credits start rolling in, it's time to mod and go challenge other cars at night
  10. Got my copy today! I'm a happy boy
  11. very very nice.very intrigued....especially on the part of using the stock injectors
  12. S2000 with a hard-top option:D
  13. it should be a factory option cos mine doesn't have this function....
  14. the 400R wasn't a full scale model variant....it was a limited edition by Nismo=not able to sell thru Nissan dealerships due to the 280ps 'limit'.... Same with other manufacturers who sell their 'over-280ps' machines thru their tuning/sports division like TRD/Mazdaspeed/Tom's/Mugen etc etc...
  15. because the SSQV as 2 valves, the smaller purple pointy thingy and the bigger valve with the HKS wordings...the screw only adjusts the tightness of the big valve. i've yet to solve the damn fluttering problem because of this...no matter how loose i turn it.....it only affects the bigger valve...
  16. the nut on the SSQV only adjusts the tension of the bigger(2nd) valve.
  17. over-fuelling does rob you of some power i believe...
  18. you've mentioned 'Nissan' steering wheels? I know the Series 1s came with non-airbag 3 spoke steering wheels which have the 'S' in the horn button. Then you have the Series 1.5 with the huge roundish airbag wheels. Then the Series 2 4-spoke airbag wheels which has a slightly smaller airbag portion.
  19. hiya paul
  20. attach a whistle to your BOV....hehe... PMed you bam..
  21. both MX6s(early turbo and later V6 atmo versions) are FWDs AFAIK
  22. although I dun own one...yet.... Appearance of R32 vs. R33 can be entirely subjective...so i'll leave that out. However, paper specs of stock for stock GT-Rs would put the R32 up front, but in real world terms might not be much at all.... if it were up to me I'll get the 33 simply cos it's newer;)
  23. from across the bridge dude....know all about mr. anwar too.... yeah both Mahathir and Mr. Lee rocks
