  2. I had a similar experience when I was driving my mates R32. It would come and go randomly. Found out it was his hicas, it was a faulty speed sensor that caused his Cheers Josh

  4. ^^ I only thought that redline shouldn't be used in relatively new gearboxes unless there is already a problem. Hopefully someone can clear it up 100% because i'm due for a change and want to be sure before i do. Cheers Josh
  5. Ok so what can be done with people that have worn viscous LSD's, is replacing them with a new VLSD or a mechanical one the only option? I would have thought you would ba able to shim them up a little to make them tighter? Cheers Josh

Hey, I have just swapped over from a 180sx that has an unlimited list of aftermarket goodies available to an R34 and I was quite suprised the lack of available parts and options for the 34, sure you can get alot of parts but there isn't much variety if you know what I mean. But on the other hand I have found they respond very well to mods. The only let down is the turbo, but there is a sponsor on here that does a Hi-Flow version quite cheap. As you stated it all realy depends on one's budget. Hope this helps Cheers Josh

  8. Friends of mine have had there car's serviced and worked on there. From there experience the workmanship was fine it was just realy realy slow! THey have extended there workshop to next door as well now. I only go there to use there dyno so I dont know what there like personally working on cars. But they do sounds like they know what there talking about, and there pretty cheap also. Cheers Josh

  11. I don't think it's as easy as holding it a 4800, they measure when you back off from that so incase it backfires and getting to that RPM, I have done ir before at work for a blue slip and tafe. They also test starting your car Cheers Josh

  15. You dont bleed brakes wen u change pads, and it isn't part of the service! trust me I was an advisor. If u need to bleed your brakes everytime u change ur pads then something is wrong with ur system. Cheers Josh
  16. ^ Exactly, Bleed your front AND rear calipers, There are nipples on them that you undo and it will let any air bubbles pass. I'm sure there is a article on it somewhere, just have a quick search. Cheers Josh
  17. Hey People, My parents work overseas and they have just picked up a really cheap 69 Mustang, They wanted to know the step's required to import the car to Australia? They have lived there for roughly 2 years or so. But they are staying oer there, not bringing the car back with them. Any suggestions?? Cheers Josh

  19. U.A.E Will be the first country to run out of oil, Hence why they have tried to turn it into a business and trade hub. Petrol here isn't as cheap as most people would think. In Saudi on the other hard, I pay 15cents a litre! Now that is hell cheap! Cheers Josh

  21. I currently live and work in Dubai, and to be honest I haven't seen any skylines/supra's etc. I live in the Bur Dubai area if that helps. To bad my cars are stuck in oz because the RHD Cheers Josh

  23. I do know what HICAS is and know how it works, I was a technician for Mitsubishi and aome of there cars have a similar system, but have never heard any cmplaints about if from customers. Hence when I asked wy people with the Nissan system want it "locked" Thanks everyone else for the comments Cheers Josh
  24. So it will only really be a problem with hard street driving or track? I haven't really feeled it interfer when driving "spirited" on the streets. Is there a computer upgrade for it that get rectify the problems at higher levels of driving? I have seen an altessa system somewhere before? is this it? Cheers Josh
