  1. Hey, I have been down that path, but with a 180sx, and all I can warn you about is that you really do get what you pay for. I purchased one of those $600 bodykit deals from a supplier on ns.com and it cost me an absolute fortune for the panel beater to fit up and meet all the lines perfect. If you look arond you will see many cars that have massive gaps between bodykit and panels. It just isn't worth it really. If you have to pay more for a front bar from a known brand (not supplier) than it is definately worth it! Cheers Josh
  2. Hey People, This is my first Nissan that has hicas, And I have noticed alot of threads from people wanting to remove it. I'm just wondering what are the pro's and con's of having this removed? Is it mainly for drift and/or track? Or are they prone to play up so the easiest option is to actually remove it? Any help would be great! Thanks Josh
  3. ^^ Thanks for that!, it was right under my nose LOL, Is that the only one? Don't want to offend the person who is selling them but they look a little rought from the pictures. And will an R33 one fit 34? Thanks Again. Cheers Josh
  4. I would think that the r32's would be cheaper due to it's age compared to a R34 may not have as many km's on it. Hope you understand what I mean Cheers Josh
  5. Hey People, Just been searching the Business For Sale section for a Pod Filter Box for a R34GTT, I have seen plenty for Silvia's and R32 and 33's. But nothing for a R34. I don't really have the time to Fabricate something at home. Need it mainly to keep the police off my back. So Does anyone know of a supplier that has these already fabriated? I'm in N.S.W by the way but will not mind paying for shipping. Cheers Josh
  6. Comany's will not replace unit's due to dead pixels, if you read the warrantly card that come's with anything that has a lcd screen it will say this. It's even covered by an international code. Cheers Josh
  7. Your fuel will already be kept cool due the to valves in your fuel pump, when fuel is pressurised it in turn keeps cool. If your really keen you can take the fuel inlet off you injector rail and feel how cold it is, even if the car has been running for hours. Cheers Josh
  8. What is the lowest people can lower the R34, and with which coilovers? Cheers Josh
  9. Just a quick question. I have seen all this posts with R34 and failed coilpacks shiting themselves. R34's are only roughly 8 years and younger. Are they a bosch unit? (Sorry i haven't pulled mine out to check) I have worked on various Japanese car's as a mechanic and have never seen major problems with coilpacks. Has anybody checked to see if there is somesort of official "service bulletin", similar to what Ford and Holden do to make diagnosis faster? Cheers Josh
  10. ok, well i'm guessing mine is a little to low then, from memory mine is 315/320. I might change it when I get back then.
  11. Your measuring from the guard to the centre of the wheel (hub) correct? Cheers Josh
  12. If it's anything like other nissan's you will have to sacrifice your speedo to disable it. You won't be able to tell your speed but it won't hit the limiter. Cheers Josh
  13. a 1998 year r34's standard diff shouldn't be worn out already, maybe in some extreme cases. What is involved with fitting the aftermarket one in? i thought it was a complete r&r. Cheers Josh
  14. Has anyone had any problem's fitting the front/dump pipe and cat do there vehicle? I remember reading in his post that there were problems with the oxygen sensor and the actual pipe was rubbing on the underbody? Cheers Josh
  15. Sorry to Hi-Jack this, But i don't think my zennon's were taken out through compliance. When I turn them on it's like a flicker then they come on and get brighter, totaly different to a normal globe in say my old 180. Or could it b aftermarket? Sorry, Josh
  16. It was probably just that he/she drove a better race, I'm not putting you down, but you can make a hell of alot of time just by launching a car properly and knowing when to shift. Cheers Josh
  17. Do you really need an auto?? If not I think changing it over to manual would definately be the first and most important mod! Cheers Josh

  21. I only dyno when I feel a difference in performance or when I have added a mod that could affect AFR's. Or unless your car starts pinging. Don't think there is really a need for it every 6 months if there isn't any difference in performance. Cheers Josh
