  1. Do you have an AWD cefiro Interesting though, unless you told them it was for a cefiro and they gave you a GTR spec'd S13 unit? Either that or GTR front sway bars are completely different to GTST (besides thickness).
  2. Are these parts for sale or what? I've got cash waiting.
  3. Are you sure they are skyline swaybars though, because I'm pretty sure skyline fronts don't fit S13(A31).
  4. I keep forgetting I had a backyard job dump pipe, and that's probably what made the R32 front pipe not fit.
  5. Mate, are these parts still available? Would you split the rear swaybar (and links) from the front? And post to Brisbane 4178? Thanks, Luke
  6. Yeah, ECU reads the O2 sensor when under light loads (cruising and idling). Since there is little/no load when you hold the throttle at 2krpm in neutral, do you not think the ECU will be trying to read the O2 sensor then? As for ECU, you can only use a remapped ECU if it has been remapped to suit modifications similar to yours. (ie if the donor car has any modifications such as larger AFM, cams, injectors, diff compression pistons etc then it will not work). My guess is that there is a leak on the inlet/intercooler piping, as I had a similar problem to this which disappeared when I replaced my front mount and pipes with a side mount and new pipes.
  7. If you managed to read the thread you would see there was a few more questions other than what was asked in the thread title.
  8. Yeah, it goes turbo, dump, front, cat. Though you can buy 1 piece dump/front pipes.
  9. For a turbo back, use R32 dump pipe (RB20), you'll need a custom front pipe unless you can source a cefiro/laurel aftermarket from jap import shops. As for the cat, just replace it with a piece of pipe, or if you are getting your catback system made at an exhaust shop, just have them make it longer to meet the front pipe.
  10. Your regular import shops should be able to source something for you, otherwise they are a very simple exhaust to make, shouldn't be too expensive to get one made from scratch at your local exhaust shop. Have a look in this thread here. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/S1...31-t242240.html
  11. Aftermarket cefiro exhausts are very simple, mine only has 1 bend from the cat back and it's only a very small angle (like 10-15 degrees). It still sits very high off the ground even with a mid muffler, alot better than most examples you see on S13/R32. If you can't find one at an import parts shop, I'd suggest getting an exhaust shop to make one to fit, rather than trying to make an S13/R32 one fit. Not to mention the cefiro/laurel has a longer body than the S13/R32. Laurel parts are interchangeable with cefiros in case you didn't know. Here is a catback I have in my garage, as you can see it only has 1 bend in it. The exhaust I have on my car at the moment has a proper oval muffler in position of that resonator thing, and instead of the cannon it has twin pipes. The other exhaust (currently on car), you can see there is plenty of room for the muffler to sit nice and high. I've pointed to the cat converter and front pipe, just for reference.
  12. Strange kit is a Series 2 autech. Twin pipes = win, make it straight through with a single GTR mid muffler.
  13. I think it would be easier to bring in an SE-4 cefiro and rebirth it
  14. I'm pretty sure it's a 6" wide rim with +38 offset, I used to have a set of standard cefiro wheels but they don't fit on the front or the rear after I put R33 brakes on. If your gf's wheels were fitting over the Z32 front calipers, and they aren't fitting on her new 180, then it'll be R33 calipers (as Z32 and R32 front brakes are identical in size).
  15. Yeah, unfortunately import laws in Australia suck.
  16. Did she upgrade to skyline brakes? At least you didn't get stuck with the 240sx (KA24 engine) like the USA did. We didn't get anything in Australia, they are all grey imports, but you wouldn't think that with the amount of them on the road.
  17. Ah, I think I know what you mean. Those wheels are commonly referred to as SR wheels, because they were on SR20 S13's. The ones found on CA18 S13's are commonly called teardrop wheels, or CA wheels. But basically, if it fits on the S13 then it's most likely going to fit your cefiro. If you are worried there is a thread getting around this section of the forum where alot of people have put descriptions of what wheel size they have (width and offset) and pictures of how they fit. Then you could have a bit of an idea how that will compare to your 16" rims. Only problems you will have is if you have upgraded to R32 skyline calipers (the 4pot ones) then the S13 wheels won't fit without spacers, and if you put R33 calipers on you won't be able to fit 15" rims. Are these the S13 rims you are talking about?
  18. herro?
  19. This cefiro has standard S13 wheels on it.
  20. Yeah the lines are different in the R32, but the pump is the same. Easy to get new lines made up.
  21. I'm pretty sure all cefiros are mechanical speedo. Some models (i think ones delivered to malaysia maybe) have both KMPH and MPH written on the dials. Failing that, you should be able to take it to some instrument calibration shop and they could change the internal gearing inside the cluster so that the numbers will correspond to the desired speed.
  22. I intend on reassembling the engine myself, but I don't want to buy standard size bearings then assemble it and find the tolerances are out. Will the engine machinists be able to tell me whether I'll need standard or oversize bearings when I get the crank linished?
  23. Hey, I've got an RB25 head with standard inlet runners. It is missing the fuel rail and injectors. So the standard injectors are side feed, is that dictated by the fuel rail or the inlet? Basically, do I have the option of converting to top feed? If so, what is involved? Is it just a matter of buying top feed injectors and a rail to suit (like an RB20 rail). Is there any benefit to either type?
