Oh shit,,,am in trouble now. I promise Kel I didn't thrash her,,,she sat there all day feeling all lonely so I thought I'd give her some lovin. Neil.
-
Nah thanks anyway Michele,,,I've already paid for 2 engines. A fourth would kill my budget. I'm going to use the one in the car now as the highly modded one. Sorry Richard no turbo for the radical. Neil.
-
It's all good Michele,,,we all have room for improvement. Nice vid by the way,,,the pov's work great don't they. I'm a little intrigued as to why you go out so quickly on your warm up lap,,,I would have thought with a car like yours,,,you would want to get heat into the brakes. Your at the fish hook and I'm still at the straight before the little left hander going up the hill. I noticed it as well at Oran park. Andrew,,,I posted head job not cylinder porting on purpose just to see who would lay in the gutter,,,,Ha Ha you win buddy. I like Mr Banana. Neil.

Trouble is I've already bought 2 engines,,,I'm waiting for them to arrive. I can't see E/Creek happening now. Funny I was about to buy some more horsepower. Some nice big cams/sprockets, a good head job/bigger valves, JE pistons and a fully sick clutch setup. Neil.
-
Thanks Duncan,,,at least you made me laugh,,,. Roy's trying to chear me up as well,,,lots of sloopy kisses. Ben original engine which admittedly has done tons of racing hours. Andrew,,,funny you should ask that question,,,I have 2 somewhere with customs apparently,,,but we shouldn't go there at the moment for legal reasons. Neil.
-
Well it looks like I've lunched my 1st hayabusa engine,,,the poor girl has no compression at all in any cylinders,,no broken cams and it looks like no bent valves. I'm a little confused at the moment. What a pain in the arse,,,2 weeks out from my favourate track,,,, E/Creek. Poo bum bloody piss bloody wee,,,oh I'm in a shit bad mood. Think I'll take Roy for a walk and have a think about it. Neil.
-
Yep I do have them somewhere,,,but you would have smashed it. From memory it was a clubby in the 6's. I'll have a look and post them up. As Duncan said,,,my day was indeed average. After doing 1.04's saturday I screwed up all my quick laps or the car played up. No excuses though that how it goes sometimes. I knocked 2 seconds on my old best so I'm not tearing up. I finally put the "Team Raceworx" sticker on the car,,,,could that be why she broke down???. Melinda wants it gone. Thanks for grabing my beacon Michele,,,with the car breaking down I forgot all about it. Richard,,,Duncan's R35 has more in it and he got held up on numerous occasions. I made the point of going and watching him. He did Nissan proud. Neil.

Wrong Zed mate,,,Kel's zed.

I'd be happy if you would fix your car problems when YOU are told about them and not take them back out on to the track again and again. Following you around sprewing fuel everywhere is so un-cool and dangerous. You of all people should know better. I had a great day in the Radical,,I also loved my 4 laps in the Z,,, but I hated my time in Ben's car,,,glad minimal people spotted what I did. A BIG Thanks to everybody that run the day,,,I love you guys. Neil.

Round 3 is this Sunday at Wakefield. Lucky for me I can do some testing Saturday,,,Michele can't. So the big question is if the weathers good,,,will I be able to beat the big tyred,,,more horsepowered Formula car or will I have to suffer 2nd again. Sunday arvo will tell. Good luck Michele. Neil.

Andrew,,,the chassis rails look dirty. I'm shattered. Neil.
-
I went looking for the boob's,,,found them,,,now what was the name of that pink floyd album???. Looks like a nice car that Jemma now has,,,Big boy don't thrash it to within an inch of it's life. Let her enjoy the easy driving cheater qualities of a GTR. But if you must should I flash my lights to tell you I'm coming past?. Neil.

Have fun everybody,,,especially you Kelly,,,oh if a Mazda RX8 mechanic walks up to you and starts singing "around the outside" he's cool ,,,he's a good friend of ours,,,his name is Micky. Neil.
-
I beleive you should Chris,,,the mx5 would have loved sunday and SAU could also move up the field,,,I would love to see us at the TOP. If we had Michele,,,you,,,Brian,,,Duncan1,,,me and drag Ando along we would do very well. Neil.
-
R2_Club.pdf I agree totally,,,SAU could get right into the points if I had some help. Ha Ha 1298cc little bike engine is crappy is it mate,,,My good friend 1.15's are history. We have 1 more round on the G/P and if the weathers good I'm leaving O/P with the record forever. The 2D record was held by Jason Wright in a WRX STI in 2007 at 1.18.77. GO Nissan. Neil.

Yep as the boys have already said,,,nice work mate,,,When I spotted it at scut the 1st thing I did was peg out what tyre/wheel comb you were running,,, I got some interesting looks. . "Neil why are you checking the wheels,,,why aren't you dribbling",,,I said I've already dribbled. I went for a walk to the last corner to watch you,,,the car looked bloody great. Question is,,,will the small fry beat the big fry at Wakefield or will I be running to the time sheets after every round?. Neil.

Round 2 was run at O/park G/P this last Sunday in really crappy conditions. There were some interesting cars out there,,,R35 on 18's and semis,,,2 R32 GTR's,,,some silvia's and the datto brigade were well represented. I did my usual and took it easy in the 1st session,,,but when I pulled a 1.16.07 in the 2nd it was time to have a little go. A 1.15.62 was the result in the 3rd. I was as happy as a pig in shit,,,knowing we both have more in hand. Then it started raining and while the track dried I went out on a sighter and pulled a 1.16.17 with a 1/4 of the end of the straight oiled up on the race line. That was the end of the day with another massive oil down and raining again. Even better was stealing the class 5 record off Michele. Go the R35,,,3rd is way cool. R2_Results.pdf You gonna have to work harder Michele. Neil.

Why not use tomorrow mornings race to practice the wheel change...Screw the non-champ race,,,it means nothing and I'll bet that the other guys will treat it the same. Practice the wheel change twice. Well Done Duncan,,,I'm smiling again. Neil.

Does A Car Need To Be Registered For L2s Events
Neil replied to timsr33's topic in Motorsport Discussion & Builds
Have a read of the sup regs: 1st is NSW H/Climb Champs SDMA_15_Feb_Supp_Regs_FINAL.doc 2nd is NSW S/Sprint sup regs:- R2_Supp_Regs.pdf If the car is unregoed and you were serious then a log book would be an advantage. You really need to sift through the cams manual as well. good luck on that one. Hope this helps. Neil. -
Yea I have agree also,,,my old sporty was always clean and tidy. Some peeps have no respect for their cars. Andrew's will rival Mr Marcov's beautiful R32,,,no doubt. I love your attitude and your insatiable quest for perfection mate. Are you going to put in a false drivers side aluminium floor so you don't damage the paint and keep your little toes cooler?. We need to do it to Duncan's car as well. Neil.

I searched u-tube Kel,,,still can't find your in car vids baby. :<) Must be top-Secret Neil.

Mate three words explain it "I'm in LOVE". I have never driven any other open sports car so I can't compare but I think its a combo of both but more mech than aero. The car is very very predictable,,,like nothing else I have ever driven. It weighs 566 with 20 litres of fuel/my 70 kilos and the corner weights are L/F 118 R/F 122 L/R 162 and R/R 164,,,nice and light with 159hp at the rears. http://www.natsoft.com.au/cgi-bin/results..../2008.WAKE.S5.Y My 1.06 is rubbish,,,done on tyres which by July had countless heat cycles. The previous owner has done a 1.02 there. Hope that helps. Neil.
