  1. Hahaha for some reason that reminds me of that vid going round of the SPL wall with like 20 shit 6x9s, and the dude just keeps hammering the things with loads of power till they all have popped one by one... Repeat performance of that anyone?
  2. Yeah definitely sounds like a leak. Be careful driving it like it is onto boost - basically it will be like not having a working wastegate. Your turbos will start spooling, but the pipes wont hold positive pressure. So you can have the turbos spinning really really fast, fast enough that theyd be making like 20psi normally, but with 0psi actual manifold pressure, so thats all your wastegate sees and it wont open to regulate the turbo's speed. So yeah, dont go hitting 0psi because as soon as you do that you dont know how hard your turbo is being worked...
  3. Looks good IMO. I think it would look really good on the road, even better than in the pics... can't wait to see what some of the Jap tuning workshops do with them
  4. Damn :|
  5. EDIT: Was going to purchase the rims but one was buckled. Was not pleased about it but thats how it goes. Good luck with the rest of the sales.
  6. Lmfao, ok that is seriously funny shit
  7. Hahaha thats a bit random mate... Cant have been secured very well if you blew off your blow off... valve... :S
  8. Lookin good mate, like the design you ended up going with
  9. Yeah looks tidy!! Specs?
  10. Check if it has a front diff? See if theres an atessa display on the dash? Check if it has a GTR badge on the boot?
  11. Screamer = wastegate pipe that doesnt go back into the exhaust, instead just dumping to atmosphere
  12. Awesome, looks really neat Congrats!!
  13. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ramadan Basically its a Muslim month of fasting from what I understand?
  14. Damn both of those are uber sexy coilovers!! I liiiiike
  15. Around 12psi on the stock turbo should likely get you to the 200kw mark. Depends on a number of factors though (such as tune, and the dyno the reading is from), but yeah, thats pretty much what youd typically expect. As for changing turbos, depends what you change it to You need to be more specific mate. If you want to make 400kw with a monster highmount external gate setup, you might need to change a few things... But shooting for around 260kw with a highflow would obviously need relatively fewer changes comparatively...
  16. Around 200kw or just over would be feasible. More or less depends how hard you want to push standard turbo
  17. Are you willing to send them interstate? For example... to Sydney?
  18. As I said a minute ago on msn, I *think* that toe would undergo a dynamic change that would be dependant on the amount of castor being run? And with 0 castor, toe wouldnt change? Could be wrong though, very keen to see what others say
  19. The car *is* the crumple zone But yeah pretty awesome hey
  20. +1!! They look like a mad time killer
  21. You probably should have checked out the dimensions and whether it would be a decent upgrade *before* you bought it... Id assume itd be better than the stock RB25 cooler though, not sure how much of the stock piping youll be able to use though, Im sure youll need at least some custom piping made up to reach it.
  22. Yeah I think with a relatively lightweight 32 gtst (which obviously is RWD), its not going to be as important how much power you are making, more *how* you make the power. If you are making 500hp with a lightswitch style power delivery, youll most likely find that youll be faster with 400hp that is made progressivly and smoothly. Also you need to ask some other questions... What wheels/tyres are you planning on running? What is the planned use for the cars? General thrashing on track days, or is it being built to suit regulations to race in a particular series? How important is reliability? How much can you spend if something goes wrong? A single power figure really doesnt mean much. With an idea of the cars use people here should be able to give you a far better idea of what will suit your needs
  23. Hahahahaha what a farking stupid thread... Cant believe that wind up actually worked...
