  1. Sounds like it could be a head gasket mate Not the best if it is...
  2. And that folks is what they call thread mining...
  3. Id go the Evo... Brand new car, should be very very rapid around a track too... Plus quite livable in a day to day sense.
  4. It definitely does sound as though there *could* be a restriction somewhere in the exhaust... Id simply try swapping over to a complete different exhaust temporarily if possible, just for one or two dyno runs, to check if it alleviates the problem. Also perhaps check simple things like if your air filter is blocked?
  5. Fark I love this thread Your car is sex snowy!!
  6. Actually no they dont torque steer at all. I belive its because they are designed with equal length driveshafts? But yeah I can definitely vouch for them in practice not having any to speak of, even full throttle in low gears
  7. I think its for an RB20 and I think hes only planning on using one
  8. Hahaha now thats funny Any pics of this 'stupid toyota'?
  9. Farking +1!! Sexiest looking car I have seen in a while...
  10. Meh, not that impressed by how it looks but also dont think it looks as bad as its made out to...
  11. My dad's got one, ive driven it a bit, its a fantastic car Very refined, almost no lag (peak torque from 1900 to 5000rpm ) Great interior with awesome build quality, quiet and comfy, good at highway speeds, handles nicely, great potential for more from the engine... Cant argue with that
  12. f**k me dead, thats intense ghetto modz yo
  13. Awesome time, congrats
  14. Its just simple supply and demand. R33 = most popular import on the roads. As such, theres heaps of supply and if demand drops (for example, when the gov't introduces laws banning turbocharged cars for some potential buyers), the prices will need to come down. Its simple economics, nothing more...
  15. Yes, that boost level is normal for a car with a pod and turbo back exhaust. Nothing to worry about
  16. Cant remember which magazine, think it was Zoom, did a test on different pod filters and it turned out that the foam style filters were the worst filtering out of all of them. On a timeattack car they are only really worried about making power, not the long term life of the engine. Definitely not a good argument to say that because a purpose built race car uses one filter that it will therefore be a good choice for a road car. Id steer clear if possible
  17. Ok then I dont really understand what this thread is asking then...? If you have some great, much better paying job lined up in three months time, why dont you just drive like a little girl until then? In three months of fuel you almost definitely wont be able to make that big a saving upon the economy youre already getting, that it will pay itself off in that time period. Eat less, dont go out, drive like a grandma. In three months you can have a good feed, go and party and do a trackday or something
  18. Uhh Id assume that the reason the engine hasnt been turned over yet is because its a crate engine? He does look like hes trying to find some male 'companionship' with it though I must say...
  19. Cheers guys, PMs sent Still looking for one at this stage so let me know if youre getting rid of one anyone else!!
  20. If youd be interested in separating the ecu Im quite keen on it Shoot me a PM if you are!!
  21. Hey guys, Looking for an R32 RB20 ecu, Shoot me a PM or reply here if you have a spare you're selling Cheers
  22. My thoughts exactly. Cant believe how long that game has supposed to have been coming out for...
  23. Awesome, any idea when youll be coming to Sydney? Also, would you be able to PM me with a rough price of what youd be looking at for a remap of an R33 ecu? Cheers
  24. Do you mean for the stock rims? If so I'd think it'd be about +40 to +45
