Uhhh ok I dont see how a boost controller will help with overboosting if you dont have one on there already... Firstly, what sort of car? How much is it overboosting by? And did you change anything else or only the FMIC? A boost controller wont help at all if you have no boost control currently (ie its just the wastegate), as a boost controller simply cant make the wastegate open at any lower pressure than where the spring opens. A bleed valve quite literally 'bleeds' some of the pressure so the wastegate doesnt see it, theres no way of making the wastegate see *more* pressure so that it opens sooner and therefore runs lower boost.

Followed this guide and the result is brilliant Very nice white colour to the light, and just the right amount of brightness. Not hard to do, took about an hour all up (pulling apart dash, taking out aircon unit, swapping globes, putting unit back in, putting dash back in). For $10 bucks all up Im very impressed with the result Cheers!!

KE70 corolla perhaps? 4AC engine is supposedly a bit gutless, but you should be able to pick one up for around 2k if you look, and then factor in 1k to throw a 4AGE into it...

Only just bought my R33 GTS-T Next up... hmmmm Depends when I finish at uni I guess... Perhaps an EVO of some sort if I manage to score a good grad job? Or an S15? Planning on keeping the 33 for a while yet though

As above, you can be driving an unregistered car for only one of two reasons. 1 - To an inspection station in order to get it registered, or 2 - To a place where repairs are to be made so as to prepare for the inspection. Problem is you were driving to your house. Dont think this is allowed. And to be honest, I dont really believe the story 100%, and I doubt the cops will. If you can genuinely say youre telling the truth, its a shame and I feel sorry for you, but I dont see you getting out of it. If not, well you shouldnt have been stupid enough to drive an unregistered, uninsured car.

Wow, really impressive results!! Keen to try out an RB20 ecu with remap myself... One question, would an RB20 ecu run everything if put into an R33? (Other than VCT that is?) Also, can speed cut be eliminated with a retune? Rev limit changed? Etc etc? Cheers

Keep stock headgasket thickness (and thus stock compression) if youre only shooting for around 240rwKw. Better response that way
