  1. i had this, turned out to be faulty ECU. keep bringing up random sensor faults and would soemtimes put itself into limp-home mode.
  2. steve, last time i checked lumpy had some but i dont know if hes willing to sell individually
  3. with the 32s you can remap the std ECU, which on a budget would be your best option. having said that not many people successfully make 300rwkw on a budget so it may be best to look at an autronic the HICAS system control can be found underneath the parcel shelf, just disconnect the SMALLER plug. i d/ced mine cos it would continually bring the light on and kill the power steering. i havent noticed any play through corners and for a RWD car pulls through the corners fairly quickly
  4. id go for the blitz, dual solenoids allows more accurate boost control. and i think theyre a bit cheaper than the AVCR
  5. i had this same problem, and it got alot better when i changed the plugs and cleaned all electrical connectors ie AFM, TPS, Coils and Ignition module... but yeh it always goes away once warmed up, but got so bad i couldnt even drive the car when it was cold! the exhaust had a much louder drone to it and there was no throttle repsonse around 2000rpm. sound like the same problem youre having - im not sure exactly what fixed mine, but thats what i did...
  6. if its for a busines you may have to look into the licensing and legality of using a PC with roms off the net for profit
  7. i dont think theyre the best for street use, i vented mine to atmosphere for about a week and then got sick of it. no-one really knows what the sound is so it doesnt sound cool, just really loud haha
  8. try united fuel injection in redcliffe
  9. ahahahahahah ps i like the 32s better, but from those pics would have to say the rex
  10. if it were a leak in the intake system (ie piping, vacuum line or blow off valve) wouldnt the misfire problem be there all the time?
  11. ay guys cmon micko, make an appearance! i still hvent seen your car in all its glory! rob, paul u guys still goin? wheres john forest national park, is it in WA somewhere or are we crossing the border to SA again
  12. A mate of mine needs a full repsray on his recently converted sil80... can anyone recommmend some places? they have a mid-priced budget but are after quality more than anything. are only looking at the standard colours at this stage no chameleon or anything...
  13. when you decide NAs are desperately underpowered, ask again cos theres a few people selling their cars here in perth
  14. i got mine from works auto. go see simon, hell be able to sort you out
  15. mate of mine has had 2 and they were fairly quick... he never modified past the filter/exhaust/boost stage so wasnt too expensive. only problem he ever had was the sump plug falling out one night! i believe the cooling issues come up when you really modify the engine but its nothing a good radiator cant fix. having said that they are hard engines to work on, with anything more than a simple service requiring a specialist garage. very nice cars though as long as the 2-seater thing doesnt bother you
  16. yep still have it am selling it for $300 cos i got a good price on it to start with, and just want to get rid of it now
  17. yeh man thats cool i got a guy coming to look at it on sunday. if he doesnt buy it, ill give you a call early next week and its all yours buddy!
  18. seriously paul? or are u just trying to get ur post count back up again?
  19. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...&threadid=21170 would prefer a perth buyer let me know if youre interested cheers guys adam
  20. Bosch 044 Fuel Pump Supports 800hp, brand new still in box $300ono please email [email protected] or PM for further detials thanks adam
  21. suspension is very underated on a skyline a mate of mine with a 4 door skline and the same mods as u kim, runs a suspension shop set his car up really well and ran a 13.2 with 248 rwhp on formaz's dyno other things that people neglect to look at is management. you can bolt all you want onto an engine but if its not tuned properly it aint gunnah run well. peak power doesnt reflect how fast a car is as we all know
  22. to get decent power gains youve really got to partition it away from the hot air in the engine bay
  23. i would go the 910 took me an hour to fit with minimal adjustments and will support fairly large amounts of power. and is cheap cos its not listed as a bosch motorsport pump, but a replacement for a V8 merc!
