Most rent a car mobs will not rent a car to someone still in high school.... Your best bet is to get some one in your area to drive you and u pay them direct...

I think i may just start a new thread as a holler to great workshops and service from companies. I have seen a few older threads around. But with the change of management and so forth and name changes we need a new one. I have always found forum sponcers are the best because they take a personal intrest in the cars and hence a sponcer of the forums. Some workshops say "arhhh" when you say skyline and then jack the price up just for you. Did some shopping today for wheel allinements due to brand new suspension changing all the settings. Found most shops to be very helpful and they have redeemed my confidence in the industry. I mean when i worked for ford years ago customer service was the top prioity. If i were to say something un-nice or blunt i would be fired. I believe that the customer is the business... I work in customer service everyday now... There are nicer ways to treat people you may not like. My personal hate is smell.... If they smell i dont like them.... LOL

I was watching these injectors too.... I thought its way too steep. You can get a set of side flow s15 injectors for about $400 from a wreaker... A set of 6 i mean...

something like that... 7 is the stated standard setting

I never said this was the case for everyone. It is all about attitude... I have doen driver training and have a cams licience. I have competed in targa and have done a few other events with different cars. I have seen the direct effect of driver training on people. Go to the local training track used at the old airport here in Brisbane and tell me how much rubber is on the ground exiting the car park???? It goes the same for go-kart tracks. Every go kart track has skids coming out of it. People get hot headed and then take it on the road. Not everyone but allot do. So thats where im coming from. Im not having a go at you and i appriciate the input, thats what this topic is all about. Thanks

I dont know where to start looking. Maby call a kit car builder and ask them about it. Yes it was always planned to build an odd number of cars. Then the extra one disrupted they nirvana of the car. Some still say on the ferrari owners club it should have never been done. But quite frankly i dont care.... 399-400 whats the difference. Just means more chance of seeing one driving down the road. As for the motor. Like any kit car you could adapt it to any engine. Ie. If you were on a budget then you may use a LS1 engine or something. Like once i wired a clubman kit car with an sr20det engine. Instead of the usuall 4age toyote motor generally used.

I am worried that advanced driver training will infact have the oppisite affect. Drivers may get a big head thinking i can control my car on a skid pan so i can control it better on the road and this may encorage them to do it more. Or even take it further. I like to clown around at the go-karts and so forth. But the cost is huge. I mean its not as fun as doing a skid. But i have not (honestly) done a skid in 3 years or more. Due to the cost of 265 wide tyres... It stops me instantly. I think ouch there goes 20 bucks. I think an area where you can do young people things ie. Drifting/burnouts on a pad or little course for next to nicks $$$ thats close to everyone. I mean we dont need a drag strip in the cty. A good burnout solves most driving fun.... I just thinking out loud.... Keep it coming guys... These are good thoughts... Id also like to add. I like playing golf on sundays as i find it very relaxing.

Honestlly im not comfortable in posting this info on the open forums. Maby someone else might post the companys name under an alter-ego login or something. Because i used to work in this industry it may seem like a stab into their business. I dont work in this industry anymore but like i said no need to start trouble. I just wanted to inform of the bad service and confusion I experenced on this topic.

Sorry.... They made 120 in the first batch (pre-ordered) I didnt read the whole thing. The enzo i saw is not really an enzo. Its a kit car. You can buy one as a turn key package for around 120g's with a real ferrari motor. I had a customer today who builds cobra's and clubmans.... He was very helpful. He said he could build one if a wanted but it would be very expensive due to the cost of the plans. Plus you need the panels which are produced in the US and their worth half the price of the car. So sorry... I was jaw dropped when i saw it and it sounded like a ferrari. So i assumed it was the real deal. He said there are a few kicking around and will become a common seen once the price on the kit comes down.

I know its un practicle but if it costs then its goona keep happening on the streets.... I mean when i moved to my new house. I had 3 trees out the front... now i have none.... 3 seperate young idiots speeding and loosing control.... Now i got no trees. If it happens again they will crash through the fence and hit the line....
-
I think your right there... Open a skid pan 24/7 for free and you wont have any problems....
-
I usually just ignore them and wonder how long till they get busted or hit a pole.... Dont be rude unless you know you can get away with it... LOL

I saw the report on ACA and i have heard the discussions previously. But i think differentlly to others.... What do you guys think. How can it be done if it were to be done. How whould it be controled and how do you measure the performance restrictons... I mean its all good to say ban turbos/superchargers. But if you pump 10 grand into a N/A 4 cylinder motor you can get results too. I mean a GTS-T has great power but it also has great brakes. If you buy a stock gemini with rust all through it. Then spend 10 grand on a motor and dont upgrade the brakes. Would this not be more deadly. What about a curfue??? Whould this actually do anything.... What about better driver education... Would this do anything??? Whats your thoughts???
-
id personally stick to the sr20 unless it is almost stuffed.... Then i guess why not go the 26... even in stock format it will be fun....
-
I was thinking about using the 33 in the noosa hill climb till i saw the cost of entry and then i ran.....
-
You will need the ecu for the motor you decide to put in.... As the fuel and ignigtion maps will be different between turbo and non-turbo.... Just a susgestion.... You are best off selling it and buying a turbo 32/33 cause without brakes you are gambling with your car and life.... Plus the hassle of adapting a motor to a car that is different that factory.
