Arh yes you speak the truth.... It could not be registered in standard format. Due to its pure performance design it did not comply with our laws due to exhaust pollution and noise. Also the car is made of complete carbon fibre except the body with is mostly fibre glass and composite materials. Major mods would have to be made to get it registered in QLD or Aus for that matter. But with the money to buy one ($2 mill) then you can afford the 50 odd grand i assume it would cost to modify. Im sure you wont see a monster tacho in an enzo tho.

Was most certainlly an enzo... I love ferrari's and know them well... Almost as well as skylines.... Had prestiege plates "WERICH" i assume that means "WE RICH" as in loaded with money.... After searching forums high and low I have found the enzo spotted all over Brisbane. Speculation is that the owner lives at Hamilton as it is most commonlly spotted there. Their are 2 enzo's in Qld... I think 9 total shipped to Australia. Remember only 120 were made... So its a rare car... The one that was used at the recient motorshow was a PD car for a sydney based customer. So there you go Ferrari's 101 col style. Also note this is not the most rare ferrari nor expensive. The rarest and most expensive ferrari of them all is a 1 off 1958 roadster built for the man himself based on the le-mans chassis. It is displayed in the ferrari museum behind thick glass. I think i have a photo somewhere. The car itself was sold in the 70's to an american collector and then re-purchased by ferrari in the 80's. Thats a solid investment...

Just got back from airport and saw an r31 sedan (blue and silver two toned i think) with intercooler hanging out the front. He waved as did I, looked nice and clean passing at 80kph. Then as i was looking i was overtaken by a very fast bike of some sort who then over took like 13 cars in a row.... He was FLYING....

Spotted a Silver Vk commorode with rb26dett sticker on the boot..... Thought it was a joke till it hit boost and roared down gympie rd.... Near Aspley.... Didnt even sound like an rb motor.... Must be the stock commodore exhaust system.... Was quick tho.... Probably would be able to keep up tho. Wasent super fast.... Sounded auto too... Its probablly just a vl turbo engine with a 25/26 head.... Number plates were trade plates and the car was looking pretty shabby.... IE. unroadworthy.... Couldnt see how it would be registered as it was very clunky in suspension terms and had 3 different rims on it and rear tyres were bald (could see steel radials on the rears) Also spotted 32 GTR in gun metel gray parked out side hyundai on gympie rd kedron. Plates were sunshine state plates so it must have been around for a while. Also spotted r34 gtt outside my house.... Know idea who it was or what they were doing... Answering mobile i think.... Looked and sounded stock standard.... Lastley spoted Ferrari enzo on old northern rd yesterday near eatons hill. Was very red and sounded like a weed eater.... Wasent gonna say that cause it would eat anything on the road....

Just an input here... Did a search on the same topic and yielded some results... Just a quick note. Most shops called were extreamlly rude in relation to pricing and time taken except mercury and redcliffe dyno.... These were the only 2 shops called out of 11 that were precise on price and made me comfortable enough to call again. I found myself really pi$$ed at one shop and the way they conduct their business. Basiclly they said i could not get it tuned by anyone good enough before jamboree for under 1 grand.... I laughed and hung up. They called back and said "We have caller id, get a life and dont call back" I said "Thats fine ill just let eveone know how you conduct your business on every brisbane forums aviable" he then saud "dont even think about posting your feedback on any forums because we are so good no one will believe you, and we will persue legal action against you if you do".... LIKE WTF all i wanted was a price and it ended up in a verbal fight... I dont want to mention they name as i dont want anymore trouble. It makes me want to sell my PFC and just forget about it. He also basiclly said not to bother bringing a skyline to jamboree as it will just get shat on and it would be time wasting. Once again WTF. So in conclusion i recomend mercury or redcliffe dyno. As they had nice phone manners and were on the average price anyways.

Just set the cam gear to 5 degres and wow... she almost went bang... PFC went mad with knock sensor.... NOTE TO EVERYONE... dont set over 4 degres on rb25det.... Now i got to pull it all apart again to set it back 2 degres... Let this be a lesson to all...

Just thought id better speak up about 98ron fuel... My sister is a chemicals chemist for the qld government and they did a lab test on fuel. They found 4 out of the five samples of optimax were more around the 96ron area and not the advertised 98ron level. All 5 samples of BP ultimate were 98 and all 5 samples of caltex 98 were 98ron... So because of this i always use bp ultimate (cause there are no caltex servo's near me) I dont care about the 4 cents a litre discount when you arent getting what you paid for. Good exsample i put a tank of optimax in with my 4 cent voucher once and the car pinged like i was running regular. Now with ultimate i have never pinged. Stick to what you know.

I just re-set my cam gear this afternoon.... Using a g-tech it reads 312hp on 4 degres retarded Then set it to 3 degres and got 320hp on same stretch of road and smoother idle and no flames.... Damn it..... Arh well my rear bar is better off

I would take the aac valve off and spray it with degreaser then bath in petrol.... let is dry and put it back on.... Also take the throttle body breather pipe off and spray contact cleaner down the tube.... Maby even pull the hose from the throttle body and clean with contact cleaner... dont worry is flamable and will combust if you get some down the plenoium.... if none of this helps.... Then you need to look at consulting an auto electrican...

R33 in mostr forms should run an AFR of 14.1:1 at idle and 12:1 under full load.... Anything around these figures is fine and perfectlly normal....

Jeeeees your quick tonight... Mate you will find that there are a number of different turbos in terms of specs from a standard 33. The series 1 and 1.5 and 2 are little different. Just the numbers stamped on the outside change.... All you really need to know is that they spin and spin and spin.... You can go as far as 14psi some say but personally id never do that... If you want power just buy a bigger one... Whats your purpose in knowing the model number???? Anyways do a search as suggested i have seen the topic before and you will find it in the FAQ area of the forums....

You need 98 octane fuel for the best results... 95 RON makes most imports ping... So stick to the BP Ultimate or Optimax or Vortex... What ever you brand flavour... Just got to get 98 RON
