If the spigot bush has a hole drilled the whole way through it, you can try the old trick of filling the bush with heavy duty grease, and then hammer a steal bar that is machined to fit perfectly into it. The grease makes a perfect seal, and it can't be compressed, so it pushes the bush out. That's if the bush is hollow the whole way through. If not... Too bad, so sad.

I guess people only post up what they feel should be posted here, if they don't have anything worthy of being posted, they don't try to make stuff up.

Dan, where is the pressure source for the wastegate coming from? I found on my old setup with no BOV, if I ran the pressure source anywhere pre throttle bottle, it lagged a bit coming back on boost. If I ran it post throttle bottle, it came back on boost really hard. From what I could figure, when shifting, boost stays above the wastegate limit as it "spikes", and this allows what ever exhaust gas is flowing out of the motor, to go around the turbo if the wastegate pressure source was pre throttle body. If I put it post throttle body, because the plenum went into vacuum it would pull the wastegate shut again forcing what ever exhaust gas was flowing through the turbo, so keeping it spooled up a bit more. Give it a go and see what you find.

Leave my engines out of this... V8, I'm not sure if it's progressed any further then when I posted the photos. I'm hoping it has. I tried to call today actually to find out if there has been anything further done... I've got the new wiring loom sitting in my wardrobe, it just needs plugs put on it to make it usable. Also got the race dash and data logger. Going to start making up part of my dash soon...

I never once ran 2 bar... My valve springs couldn't take more then 1 bar over 6500RPM... But it still used 70% injector duty cycle on my 880cc injectors at 5000 - 5500RPM to hold an 11:1 AFR...

It looks to be a no unless someone has it in storage Trying to order SHTBOX says it's unavailable, run a check on the plates registration, and it's not valid in the system. The same with SHT80X

When it was super low, you would have had bump steer. That is, hit a bump and the rear wheels will actually change alignment so much it "kicks". Now that it's raised, your rear toe and camber will be so far out, it's not properly gripping in the back, and it's just moving around.

Boost is only a measure of restriction... And 500KW at 5,000RPM and 1000KW at 10,000 is the same amount of go fasts... ... ... Torque people... It's all about torque...

What the hell do you have on the car that is coming on at over 4K? I think you need to take the car to a magician and have them tune it... I thought you had like a 3082 or something?

Mostly yes. Wakie isn't as strict. Most of the cars that are at our track days are not over the noise limit.

Everyone should be aware, that basically the only track in NSW that doesn't have a noise restriction on it, is Eastern Creek. Even Wakefield has a noise limit quite similar to Marulan. Marulan is just making it more aware as the locals have lodged noise complaints in the past.
