  1. My 1990 Type M brakes were 4-pot. What about changing hubs? not sure how they do it but the silvia boys and na skyline boys do a 5-stud conversion.. might want to look into that and run the 296mm rotor/33gtst caliper setup.
  2. .010" is .25mm which is first undersize, that's what I'm running on mine. I'm using NDC bearings and I'm pretty sure there were more size after .010" and ACL should be the same..
  3. There is a rather ambiguous line in there..
  4. Take a spark plug out, poke an endoscope in and check out the pistons?
  5. Yeah with a manual it would be fine, dial in some revs and drop the clutch But I've already got a 32 for that
  6. Cheers for the manual I just fumbled my way through making it do what I wanted it to do
  7. Is there shitloads of black smoke coming out the exhaust and it struggles to rev over ~4000rpm? That's what happens when a cooler pipe comes off.
  8. About 4000rpm I think, maybe a *tad* earlier. Being auto with the stock stall (~2250rpm), makes it quite laggy off the line
  9. My guess is your speedo cable is about to snap.. Mine used to bounce around at about 100-110, then one day, no speedo or light steering.
  10. Would just like to add my 2c on how great Datascan is.. I have a remapped stock ECU running the RB30DET in my 32, I also put a carpc in there sometime ago purely so I wouldn't have to plug the laptop in everytime I wanted to check something! It rocks. I drive around with the dashboard screen up showing a Tacho (as the dash tacho is not 100% accurate) and Water Temp along with an RPM warning light (set to whatever you want) and a Speed warning light (also configurable). It's always on when the car is on so it's easy to turn datalogging on at any time and is great for the drags and skidpan/track days! Lastly, it's super fkn handy for diagnosing issues
  11. Even more effective with a decent LSD
  12. Cheers dude, was fun through the hills on the weekend quite suprised how well it handled! P.S. auto for the bus, manual for the toy 32 Was done by a local mob over here, I imagine it's a pretty big hiflow though.. ~240awkw @ 12psi.. makes me think it's pretty big! Haven't looked at the actuator and cbf at the moment to be honest, my 32 is in pieces so I've got enough to worry about for now
  13. Mrs got some pics, will get them up when I've got a chance to resize. Probably next week though, busy busy at work and got a tournament this weekend
  14. It's fair because if it's in the glass it came like that from the factory and they can't expect you to replace all the glass.
  15. Well the other option is something like the Tomei Lock Kit, retains the rack but locks the tierods.
  16. My 32 was a daily for about 2 years, all mods were done in a weekend so that I could drive it on the Monday again (even the 30 conversion ). Now I have a Stag as my daily and the 32 is currently in pieces, putting all the bits on that I have collected over the last 18 months! going to be quite some fun when it's done
  17. lol gold!
  18. Yours must be a similar size to the hiflow on my stag then, 240awkw @ 12psi seems to be a bit more than normal 33 hiflows (mine is a hiflowed neo turbo so bigger exhaust housing). Some new injectors and ~18psi I'd hope to see ~280awkw.
  19. I prefer* the clears but the lenses are made of plastic and like the 33 headlights etc, yellow over time which looks crap compared to the perfectly clear glass lenses on the 32 headlights. I wish I could get the indicator lenses made from glass but it's probably something for the too-hard-basket * My 32 is black though and it looks phat with clear indicators, can't say about other colours
  20. I passed with mine but I also heard a guy got given a sticker for one not long ago.. not sure what happened at the pits about it though.
  21. 230-240rwkw @ 16-18psi. It's not so much "safe" boost levels as opposed to having a "safe" tune which will keep your engine alive. Best (and safest) gains will be had with a proper ECU though. Probably going to max your airflow meter and not sure how an SAFC will go tuning past the AFM limits..
  22. My Nismo diff was bought specifically for 32gtst, came with its' own m12 bolts, a pair of new stub axles (standard Nissan items but 2x shorts instead of 1x short 1x long), a gasket and some oil. Ended up using an auto S13 crown wheel and housing (so I didn't have to change pinion gears out) as it was all straight bolt up. Interesting to know 32gtr and 33gtst are the same though
  23. You sure the bolts are the same? When I was looking to change gears along with my 2-way, I discovered that 33gtst crown wheel bolts were bigger than 32gtst (m12 I believe), so 32GTR is same as 33gtst?
  24. ^^ lol Well my GT35R is very close to going on, front end of the car is apart and will pull stock manifolds off next week to then mock-fit the new manifold + turbo Currently chasing little odds n ends such as the brackets that hold the cooler onto a 32GTR so I can fit the new cooler and piping.. the engine bay side of things looks pretty tight (to get to throttlebody and also from turbo hot pipe) but I want to avoid having to relocate my battery if possible!
