I'm still using the 2 long shafts that came with my Nismo 2way, hasn't happened again and it's seen a couple of runs down the strip and lots of sideways. -

Nath, from what I've seen of the Greddy plenum in Mikeys car the throttlebody points out on too much of an angle, had to remove his battery and go through there as opposed to the where the GTR piping comes out of the side.

Nice! My bad though, I have hit 3rd once while sideways and that was with 225/45/17 LingLongs, RB20 gearbox and 4.3:1 diff ratios. 235/45/17 595SS's, 3.9:1, doesn't like it so much now.. only a couple more months then GT35R will be on and I *should* be able to roll on in 4th and fry the tyres

lol I tried to hit 3rd while sideways once.. something didn't like it.. haven't tried since lol With my gearing though 3rd is pretty tall.. might have worked better if I still had 4.3s..

Yeah the only time I was told off was when I did pretty much the same thing.. over cooked it and spun out then kept my boot into it turning it into a big smokey 2nd gear burnout.. they weren't as happy as I was lol

25s1 turbo @ 12psi on my RB20 = not maxing stock afm 25s1 turbo @ 12psi on my RB30 = maxing stock afm at about 5000rpm Take from that what you will.

Umm no. Wastegates vent exhaust gas to control boost. Blow off valves vent/recirculate intake air to prevent reverberation off the throttle plate when it closes.

The 20 ecu should be able to handle 14psi through the stock turbo, my guess is blocked cat or dying fuel pump.
