BP East Perth appeared to have plentiful U98 bowsers this morning as I drove past.
gazza, how long have you been using vortex98 for? I put half a tank in once as a last resort but other than that I always run U98 regardless of cost. I didn't buy a skyline and then modify it to be economical and saving $5 on a tank of a fuel is meh.
DO NOT TAKE ONE TURN AS ONE PSI as gospel.. very good way to kill your engine!
Get a boost gauge and do it slowly with small increments, rather hard to do it on the street without being naughty.
Better to be safe than sorry I spose Ash
Raz, they didn't batt an eyelid at my 30 here in WA but that could be because it all looked pretty stock under there.. I was surprised at how easily they passed it but haven't heard from anyone else with a 30 in a 32 as far as legalities. The block/head/pistons were part of a 30 setup in my mates VH commodore which was legal (even took it over the pits making 365rwkw lol) but that's an older car with a bigger capacity engine from factory..
lolthread
What's worse is getting in my dad's BA falcoon, driving to the shops, forgetting to put it in Park then wondering WHY THE BLOODY THING WON'T START
"dad, your cars fkd"
"o wait, it's still in Drive"
lol so they're no longer really ADR's in vicco but VDR's!
Pretty sure here if it's less than 25% capacity increase (and possibly in the same engine layout i.e turbo i6) then all you need to do is ring up and change the engine number. That's what I was initially going to do but I got a yellow sticker (defect notice) before I had a chance to call up, because my bonnet didn't shut properly So took it over the pits shtting myself about having mismatching numbers and turned out it wasn't a drama at all!
One instance does not a generalisation make!
Padawan.
I will turn you into a nerd yet, and then you will have the best of ALL WORLDS! MUAHAHAHAHA my pretties </pats>
Cheers for the pic

P.P.S. wogan.. throw the fronts on the back and smoke em up in the driveway, that should fix the flatspots
Doesn't look like my comment is going to get posted I went on a mini-rant about everyone jumping on the "hoon hating" bandwagon when it was actually our shitty road conditions that appear to be the major contributing factor.
I know the intersection, it's dodgy as. I've gotten air through there heading east at only 60kph.. scary shit!
Simon (R32-GTS) smashed a hole in his sump on the same bump.. lucky the workshop is only 100m away lol
lolwut? take it to someone who knows skylines....
spark plugs are in the same place as every other twincam RB.. in the valley between the cams.. srsly tho, I wouldn't let that goose do anything else to your car.
Wow, sucks for you boys over east.. all I did was take my car to the pits, they looked at the new engine number, noted it and said "have a nice day" lol.
