  1. We had to pit five times because the fkn spark lead kept coming off one of the motors
  2. I could have done a whole 2hr stint without pitting IF ONE OF OUR BLOODY ENGINES DIDNT KEEP CUTTING OUT FFS!
  3. No. Must me able to do something like this.. unless you want to get boo'd off teh pad

    Popping!

rev bashing and flooding? do what now? restart the afm? </searches for that WTF? stamp..> Sounds like it's misfiring under load due to spark breaking down, probably due to more boost due to lack of restrictions.. But seriously dude, there is a Forced Induction area and if you had have searched that you would have found some very related problems and possible solutions.

  6. Well here are the times people! Let the sledging recommence Fkn attachment fail. Will host them on my webspace.
  7. I've got dyno sheets showing same setup on my RB20 and RB30, I would hazzard a guess that RB25 would be somewhere in between so about 800rpm sooner spool sounds about right as there was about 1700rpm difference between the 20 & 30.
  8. Great time, will elaborate later when I have times scanned
  9. Wanted to keep my stereo deck, to be able to fold the screen away and also adjust it to face me as it's primarly for onscreen gauges.
  10. Yeah I was checking out RoadRunner today, threw the install on my flash drive and will whack it on at some point over the weekend and see how it goes. Making my own skin will probably be a lot further down the track as I'm not a programmer by nature and it looks a bit full on If I can get RoadRunner to seemlessly integrate with the data and dashboard displays in Datascan, I'll be a happy man
  11. FKN LOL!!
  12. Have a look on rhdjapan.com
  13. Too many unknowns, especially if you are having stereo wiring problems at the same time. General HICAS question.. have you got an aftermarket steering wheel fitted? does the speedo stop working at the same time that the steering gets heavy? Who installed your sub? where did you/they get power from? has any part of the factory loom been butchered?
  14. Nothing hits as hard as Chuck.
  15. +1 for the OP bumping the lock as you got out. The beeping you heard was the car telling you the door is open, the lock has been flicked and your keys are still in the ignition
  16. I want some of whatever Scott has been smoking!
  17. lolwut?
  18. Yeah I think losing that xforce cat will increase your performance a bit in terms of responsiveness (made a big difference in my car but I was trying to push 3L exhaust gasses through that shitty cat), with a decat pipe it will sound awesome at revs but maybe a little truck like at idle. More than welcome to have a listen to mine if you want
  19. I did hear a rumour the other day about L28 engine mounts possibly dropping the motor.. As for timing belt clearance, I'm still not chopping my bonnet Interested in photos of your bonnet though premo
  20. Morning kids. As for audio, my box has RCA out on the front hooked to the onboard sound, I'm just running that to the AUX IN on my deck and the quality seems just fine (had it cranked last night). The Porares screen is mint! works great, looks great, but need to get me some front-end software... already dropped the stylus under the seat once and trying to hit little buttons with your finger sucks I do have a trackball plugged in and sitting on the floor next to the centre console and will probably leave it hooked up, it's good for passengers to use and when I need to do something that is a little hard with the touchscreen. Having Datascan running all the time is awesome and the dashboard function with RPM and SPEED alerts is great Gotta mount the PC properly after work today then I'll take some pics of the setup P.S. pr0n while driving is bad mmmk
  21. Will do Haven't looked at the firewall brace too closely yet, it's just an idea at the moment but I've seen it done in a 33 I think it was and some other cars. I'm not putting any effort into it yet until the new turbo and forward facing plenum is on as that will change things rather drastically! I'm thinking that if my strut brace won't fit back on I'll hack it up and use the mounting rings, relocate the hinges and use some threaded rod for an adjuster in the middle. Weld a plate to the firewall with some bolted hinges so the braces can be removed easily. Really depends on where my turbo ends up
  22. I received my Porares screen this morning (god damn that was fast!), looks pretty good, will be installing it when I get home
  23. What time you leaving Mandurah? I've got training up in Serpentine till about 1pm so if the times coincide then I might duck over to Mandurah and cruise most of the way home with yas
