  1. Look up high above the kick panel, probably near/behind the bonnet release cable. It's a green socket, white plug, single wire either side. lachlanw: air bleed mode is simply unplugging the plug and turning the key to ON. If you forget to replug then start the car, as soon as you start moving it will throw up an error (the solid light).
  2. Trinidad scorpion seeds or cuttings.. YES PLEASE All my chili plants died in the sub-zero temps the other month Had a Bhut Jolokia that was flowering, a Red Savina, a Jamaican Hot Yellow and a bunch of normal habaneros, jalapenos, thais etc Picked up a 4-pack of healthy habaneros for $5 at Bunnings on the weekend.. might put them under a light
  3. Nice car, Adam looked after it well. A little trivia for you, this car was a bit of an oddity and actually came from Japan with a 20/30
  4. My most favourite line ever, I use it a fair bit WOT CNT P.S. Rowsies, tell your mate to lay off the drugs k?
  5. Good drive, I'm in pending dates.. things get pretty hectic in the silly season
  6. It's not you Wolverine, it's the majority of people in here who are internet warriors just make things so damn hard I cbf dealing with it anymore. Tim, you know I love you
  7. My 32 was my daily for a few years until it started to get a bit too serious to drive on the street. I also wanted to rebuild the 3L with stronger parts which was going to take a while. So I bought a modified Stagea for the daily, can fit heaps of shit in there (could only fit one gear bag in the back of the 32, now I can take 3 other people to training/tournaments), goes quite hard for a lunchbox, inconspicuous (read: cops don't even look at it), and it's all in the family (engine/drivetrain layout is familiar and some parts are interchangable). It's probably not as economical as most peoples' dailies, but it's a shitload more fun than the old bunkies I used to have as dailies.
  8. Have fun with the school kids. The majority of us will still be working on the 20th.
  9. What is that then? Honestly, I'm over helping and providing information to people in this section. From here on, I shall keep everything I learn to myself.
  10. I had my RB20DET gearbox bolted to my twincam 30, I used the RB20 starter motor though so not sure if the RB30 starter will fit. The RB20 gearbox won't live for very long behind a 3L..
  11. Forget it Charles, the idiots who have it stuck in their mind that it is a bad thing will never be convinced. For the record, a SOLID 4WD light does NOT mean the system is in AIR BLEED mode, it means that you have started to drive with the bleed wire unplugged.. i.e. IT'S AN ERROR The workshop manual provides TWO methods of putting the car in 2WD mode, one is drop the front prop shaft, the other is the method I have outlined. The only way the system can engage 4WD again is if you turn the car off. If you're that scared, then don't do it. Simple. Just don't come on here and bag people that have PROVEN it works.
  12. I've got the ProfecBII in my Skyline and the Stagea, good little units, simple to install and set up.
  13. What car? I'm assuming is a RWD platform as you talk about re-using your gtst gearbox... If it's an R32 GTSt, I killed my stock box very quickly after chucking the 3L in. If it's an R33 GTSt, then your box is already as strong as a GTR box as they are pretty much the same internals (I upgraded to an RB25DET box, including the box and custom tailshaft good for 800Nm, and some other bits like slave cylinders, pivot ball etc, cost me nearly $2.5k and I did the work myself). Using a 4WD gearbox in a RWD application requires some cutting and shutting.. easier to use an R33 RB25DET box.
  14. Thanks Chuckie Global Auto's can do it and seeing as you have an R33, I'm pretty sure he can do a full blown proper shift kit for yours. Mine was the first 'B' (tiptronic) box he had seen so the best he could do without more info was the welsh plugs BUT, it made a HUGE difference and I'm not sure I would want anything harsher in my daily.
  15. I've come across posts on here of people getting them to fit and just living with the link angles with no adverse results..
  16. $300 for front and rear 33gtst calipers is about normal. People use them for upgrades on 32gtst's and 5-stud conversion on S13's. I sold my old 32gtst calipers/rotors to a guy for an upgrade on a 1600.
  17. I haven't tried to fir my rear bar yet, some people reckon it fits and the link angles are dodgy but acceptable. Big Fella tried and reckons it won't work at all. When I find some rubbers to suit I'll give it a bash, failing that I'll wait for someone to organise a groupbuy for custom to suit
  18. I haven't even driven it yet, been having fun punting my 300hp S13 Sileighty through some events.
  19. Had a chat with a very reputable local parts supplier. He actually sells Stagea shafts to GTR people as Stageas tend to be less thrashed. He says they are all the same, I've got dibs on the next set coming in Not sure what the go for rear on S2 auto Stageas is though, as they have a 50mm wider track.. anyway know anything about Z32 rear cradles/axles?
  20. Looks ilke they slapped sideways in to a tree. Most likely some digis stole it and couldn't drive it, stepped out round a corner, bit of a tank slapper, up the kerb and BAM hello tree.
  21. Light on constant won't act like normal.. steering will be heavier and it will understeer like crazy (as it's 50/50 split, or basically the pump is running flat out, driving around like this WILL destroy things). If you can't spin the tyres for more than 1-2secs and you reckon it's really slow in RWD, then there is probably something very wrong with your car. I have a laggy assed hiflow so it takes a bit to get it on boost, once it's on boost she smokes up like a trooper, as good as the 3L'd 32
  22. Finished all of the beginner races and half of the amateurs. Picked up a black 260RS the other night, haven't driven it yet. Chucked a sickie today so will get some more driving in
  23. I think you're doing it wrong and it is actually running in 50/50. Or you're roasting the hell out of one tyre.
  24. Mine is faster in RWD. But hey, each to their own I guess
