  1. Dancing Dildo? lol... no thanks, not really for me but going from your PMS-like reactions, one could safely assume that if you were to install such a device you would be changing gears much more frequently than required. Pics of my beloved M35s interior? Not really worth putting it up here as it looks as it did when it came out of the factory. Only thing I have done is an iPod install that is designed to be as non-viewable as possible. Thanks for the interest though Head up my arse syndrome? lol... unlike some, I do not believe that the world (or this forum) is put here for my sole purpose. Hell even a thread that I happen to start is not there for my sole purpose. Jeezus, overly sensitive and serious.... wipe your eyes, put down the tissues, finish your Tim Tam, go out and pop the bonnet of your Stag, get in, give it a rev (or preferably a quick blast down the street), grab your balls, leave the PMS crap outside then come back and post. I am sure you will feel better.
  2. Lucky you don't have a manual!
  3. +1.... as well Could not agree with this more. (although I DID buy mine over the internet lol) Shitty at the moment? lol.... you should have been here 3 years ago! Maybe in NSW... I am sure that the suction pipe can be done down here in Vic if you can drop your car off overnight 300awkw? agreed.... maybe if the Vic Bogan had a decent intercooler, exhaust manifold and V Manage he would get close?
  4. hmmm... don't think I will be making it out there tonight. Next time I guess
  5. The Kakimoto R is a little bassier than the Legalis and is about as quiet (both 86db @ 3000rpm with stock dump & front pipe). The Kaki is a little larger in diameter (80mm compared to the Fujitsubo's 76mm). I guess it all comes down to the muffler appearance between these two. If you want a single 115mm tip, go with the Kakimoto R If you want dual 96mm tips, go with the Fujisubo Legalis Also, out of suriosity, does anyone have the twin square tipped Nismo exhaust on their M35?
  6. *shudders* Will help, just let me know when.
  7. *sigh* too subtle?
  8. So... what are you saying?
  9. I decided to post this up because I am sick of all these dickhead car yards selling cars they have no or very little idea about and are misrepresenting said vehicles to potential buyers. Case in point #1 M35 Stagea Can anyone spot problems with this ad? Here are the obvious ones (please chime in if you find more) 1. The model designation is either an "NM35 Autech Axis" or an "AM35 Autech Axis".... "PM35" is the face lifted model which were in production 2005 onwards 2. It DOES NOT have either a 3.5L or a 3L-turbo engine. The engine is a VQ25det... as in a 2.5L Turbo 3. 2004 model Stagea? The 2004 model M35's are not eligible for compliance due to stricter emissions laws here in Australia. The engine cannot meet those laws in stock trim. 4. Anyone tried putting that VIN in FAST? Yep, 2 digits too many Case in point #2 M35 Stagea *sigh* again, this dealer has 2 mysterious extra digits in the VIN. Is this incompetence or flat-out dodgy? I happened to call this dealer to let him know of his errors only to be met with "Are you talking about cars in MY yard? What the f*ck would you know about the cars in MY yard!" (I can understand someone calling an saying that his ads are incorrect might piss him off, but I did so in a friendly manner) I am sure there are a heap of "odd" ads out there and we seem to know of a that knows little about these vehicles that have the "same interior as a 350z"....So I guess what I am saying is, if you could be stuffed, post up any incorrect ads you come across (I know the whole "what is and isn't OEM" is needed with Autech C34's)... with corrections and maybe a recommendation of a yard that you would suggest the buyer to go to instead. I know that if I was a buyer that knew nothing about these cars (as I was 3 years ago) and was looking at buying a car in one of these ads/car yards, I would like to know what is and isn't correct. If you can't be stuffed, then, well don't bother If you happen to be reading this and in the market for a Stagea, there are actually a number of car yards out there that know their vehicles. One I can recommend from personal experience is Northshore Prestige. From experience, not only have they been PROPERLY complying M35's for 3 years or so, but they are a helpful and pleasant group to deal with. They are also currently the ONLY yard that can sell the 3.5L M35's. Hopefully this turns out to have a number of highly recommended car yards (that can back up recommendations)... as well as some "corrected" erroneous ads.
  10. I love my Camaros and Challengers.... and that Gallardo is f*cking awesome.... but my pick would have to be, what is, one of the sexiest cars of all time
  11. Yep, that's who I was thinking of
  12. Actually there is a place in Melb that does headlights modifications and repairs.... but I don't have the link and I can't seem to find them today. I stumbled on them whilst searching Google. Maybe you will have more luck than I? *sorry I can't help any more than that - pretty crappy, I know but better than nothing I guess*
  13. If you want to pay, they can be found on Yahoo Auctions. You can use Import Monster, Nengun or BidJDM to view the auctions. Only issue with headlight mods is that they are usually an "exchange" auction, meaning you send your headlights over, they modify and send back. Shipping is a bitch.
  14. Yep, interested. Can't on Friday or Sunday though... or Saturday come to think of it
  15. Great shit mate! Can't wait to take it for a run tomorrow night Now I guess you will be hunting down a full size throttle body?
  16. One and the same They do "work" but in the end all we want is to remove the low rpm restriction which is implemented by the ecu and is, obviously, dependent on rpm which makes these throttle "controllers" largely redundant.... unless you want a not-so-sensitive accelerator pedal for freeway travel of course.
  17. Meh, I think the R34 just looks like a mid-late 90's design, pretty sure if it was released today, it would be met with the "severely dated" label... oh, before I forget all those who are talking about the technology behind the R32 being ahead of its time, have you forgotten about the Porsche 959 (referring to non-race use of course)? The BA Falcon was ahead of its time from an aesthetic standpoint... and was ridiculed by an Australian industry that, at the time was afraid of any significant styling change. I am sure someone has said it, but what about the Model T? The Rav4? It pretty much started this pollution of soft-roaders around the world.
  18. True, if our trans shifted gears as quickly as the CVT trans "changed gears" (practically immediate), then the paddles would be great. OR you could just get one of the shift kits fitted (of for guys from the other states, send down your bits, have them updated and shipped back for installation)
  19. Good news for those of us with a good looking interior
  20. Pretty easy I would imagine since the V35's use the same steering wheel and steering column as we do.
  21. Left = Freeway/Dolphin Right = Nismo modified with R32 intake ducts. Not sure on the grill... seen it before somewhere, just can't put my finger on where Yeah, my mates V35 GT8 has the paddles. Damn nice paddles I must say. Will get a part number if I can get FAST working today
  22. Yep. Mine did it to. Try tightening the turbo -> dump bolts. Worked for me
  23. It that your auction Matt? If so, pics of the actual item would probably be beneficial, no? I did see one sell on Yahoo a couple of weeks ago... but I agree with Iain, unfortunately.
  24. Yeah, see that Works Bell kit a bit on Yahoo Auctions. Can't help but think that a V35 OEM paddle shift would end up cheaper, would bolt straight in (I imagine as they both have the same steering column) and looks/feels damn good too!
