  1. That dump pipe that you guys saw was a one off and lives on my car. It was going to be the "production" one, but for 2 reasons; 1. A shit load of time and effort to make 2. A pain in the arse to install/remove I will be looking into getting some 3" bends so we can make up a few similar to the eBay one. Anyone who would be interested, please post below to give us some idea of quantities
  2. ... still waiting for the PDF (when you have time of course )
  3. lol... I think you will be happy with that power figure for about 2 months (max). I thought as much regarding the ECU, but I hadn't heard anything and I thought that maybe you had... oh well
  4. lol.... looks like we have some voyeuristic Volvo lovers here
  5. Very nice Sir... very nice indeed. So if we went on the previous calibration of the RE dyno it would be around the 250 mark, as predicted, yes? Is there any reason in particular that Cihan decided to stop at 1 degree advancement though? hmm... 630nm does sound lovely... so what are the rules governing piggyback ECU's for E85???
  6. Looks like you are missing 3 fuses to me mate (but I ain't no auto elec ) The two small 20A fuses in the two bottom spaces in the line of fuses in the centre and the big blue on at the bottom in the middle. Is your HID setup factory or aftermarket Tom?
  7. Wow... Rookies retiring, teams not taking their starting positions due to their cars not being ready, little if any passing among the top 8.... 3 hours of my life I can't get back. Glad the top level of motorsport has its act together. What a SHIT RACE (I was looking for the right wording, thanks Roy). *praying HARD that it had more to do with the track than anything else*
  8. lol @ "Car of the Future" DOHC V8's, independant rear suspension and trans-axle gearboxes according to THIS article in Drive last week. Bring on the latest in automotive racing technology! *Yawn* Bring back the ATCC.
  9. Not really optioned. Axis and ARX panels are interchangeable in models up 2001-2004 (the flares match up). So all the previous owner would have to have done was buy an Axis front bar and get it and the flares pained the same colour as the body Also, I believe that if you wanted Autech bits, you had to buy the Axis... Nismo can option up most models from the Nissan dealership (seems they didn't like touching the ARX though ), but Autech only did the complete car from what I can gather.
  10. A pair of PM35 headlights...
  11. Highway travel, everyone should be getting 10L/100 or better. Maybe it has more to do with your right foot control than anything Steve (I too have a Powerduct, a CAI into the bottom of the airbox and a fisher intake, so I don't think you can realistically blame the "extra air" for your sub-par fuel economy - or am I missing the sarcasm? )
  12. That is normal. If you want all of the doors locked at once, just flick the latch on the drivers door and they all will lock
  13. Yep, same as VQ35 and SR engines. You could go OEM for $20 OR you could go a Nismo filter for a little more
  14. Sounds like fuel cut to me. Any idea how much boost you were pushing? I know when I push my car hard, I get fuel cut when the boost hits 1.3bar which can happen around the 70-80kph mark (surprised the crap outta me the first time, felt like I was going to go through the windscreen)
  15. VQ25det was only used in the M35 Stagea. Nowhere else. It was discontinued at the end of 2004 due to not meeting the new emissions rules in Japan
  16. LOL... yeah wouldn't mind. Will save me a bit of time this weekend making one up (cable ties were temporary ) Scourer? again?? Why not take the top off (unscrews I am told) and add a divider down the middle to force the air down and around? Maybe better, yes?
  17. Of course, not after deposits at the moment, just an eoi I will only offer a kit that is ready to clip straight in
  18. HERE you go Tom (quick search for "R34 power fc" in the For Sale section)
  19. I am getting a bit sick of having a nice battery cover one one side of the engine bay while there is a gaping hole on the other side which has nothing but uglies on display (plus I'd like to hide the catch can ) I have ordered a G35 battery cover "kit" from the US which, I am told, will require cutting and at least 1 bracket to fit properly. Will post pics etc when I fit it. Now, I figure I can't be the only one that thinks this way (although it is a common occurrence ) so depending on how many people (if any) would be interested and how much needs to be done to fit it, I will look into a group buy in the not-too-distant future. Cost will be a maximum of $160 delivered to your door with clips and whatever bracket(s) are necessary and will obviously be cheaper the more people want to go ahead with it, but for now, if you are interested feel free to say so
  20. Just remember that when the light comes on, the needle is nowhere near the real empty mark. You can see a little "rest" for the needle about half way between the tip and the base, when the needle is resting on this (it will be below the "E" mark) you should be getting concerned. Oh, and I am with Eugene on this one. You should be able to get ~100kms after the light has come on... or possibly more if cruising
  21. So much for "not mentioning it", aye? Congrats man.... but why didn't you just save it for tomorrow's tune? (will need details on what was replaced, results between the two etc )
  22. Cheers for that Dale Well, I have been running around today with one if the phenolic spacers on my car and I can tell you that they are better than the aluminium one. Car seems more "solid" and "together" than with the aluminium spacer, particularly in the lower rev range and after a rather spirited drive to work (winding hills, round abouts, 100kph zones) I could rest my hand comfortably on the plenum... which, if any of you have tried on a stock car is virtually impossible without getting burned. Definitely recommended.... for any type of driving.
  23. Hi Bryan, I purchased an Axis S front bar and a 2006 M35 bonnet via Import Monster to continue my conversion (I still need a grill ) It will not fit on an ARX or normal Axis due to their flares.... although they can be removed. Here is how it looked before I meshed the lower intake spacers (black mesh of course) which made it look much, much, much better.
