  1. That's awesome!
  2. Pearlescent Sky Blue is the name Nissan gave it.
  3. Whilst not "awesome" here is rare Dayz NM35 Kenstyle EIK NM35 Axis zei20l's NM35 RX Four Takero's NM35 PM35 Axis PM35 Axis S and of course the Kids Heart M35
  4. For those interested, here are a couple of pics with the cover fitted (no brackets as yet). Price will be $145 which includes cutting to the cover and shipping to your door. If interested you should not that there is some cutting of the existing bodywork that is necessary to fit it. Need a minimum of 5 orders and will require payment up front
  5. I am confused by your double negative mate... so you are saying that you think it is genuine S-tune yet doesn't have all the Nismo gear on from factory?
  6. lol @ Nismo stickers... at least they aren't faded (cheap shot!), but there is a "t" there mate. That safety car is actually a complete Nismo M35. Bodykit, exhaust, wheels, suspension, air filter, ECU, brake pads etc. Surprised to see such recent pics of it actually since the only pics I had (have?) of it are from 2002.
  7. What are you talking about mate. The front bar is the same, but the rear bar and side skirts are stock RS items that have been colour-coded. Get Nissan to price up a full Aero kit using your VIN. They can get them in. THEN when you don't like the price they state, get the part numbers for each item, email Aaron at Import Monster for a quote and he will have his team contact Nissan Japan to get pricing in yen... just ask him for a bulk shipment price for the whole kit. Should work out cheaper than Nissan... but it may take a little longer to get to you.
  8. So I took the GPS to check how far out my speedo is on the way down to watching the "Classics" at Phillip Island yesterday. Since I have upgraded my wheels and using the 235/40/18's that came with, my speedo is 10-11% out (reading higher than actually travelling). Looks like a good excuse to get fatter tyres next time
  9. interesting.... may have to break out the GPS and give it a little look-see
  10. 225/45/18 and 235/40/18 will not give the same speedo reading. With 235/40/18, the speedo will read around 3-4% higher than the 225/45/18 The 225/45/18 is a recommended replacement for the stock RS 17's as it does not upset the speedo. I am running 235/45/18 on my RS and I can tell you that my speedo reads a little high. Will be switching to the 225/45's as a correctly reading speedo is a nice thing to have and the extra 10mm over the 230/40 will fill out the guards nicely
  11. +1. More air = more fuel = poorer emissions. Probably the same reason they chocked the car back with that rubbish intake and bottlenecked dump.
  12. Nope. Too dark for my pissy little camera flash Maybe you will need to bring your "real" camera to the next one
  13. I think it was 7 all up, yeah? (unless I missed one ) Nice to meet you all guys (where was the puppy Shan?) Maybe find a nice driving road to use next time and bring a suitable camera
  14. hmm... and Axis with ARX wheels. Interesting. Do like the Axis in silver
  15. hmm... I put a Powerduct on last weekend and noticed an improvement in responsiveness almost straight away (my CAI has been disconnected until I make a new one that fits with the front bar). The difference was like trying to suck air in with your hand over your mouth (closed airbox and only stock funnel) as opposed to just breathing normally (with Powerduct). Didn't really notice any additional sound although it may be a bit difficult to hear over my turbo and exhaust The engine does seem to have a bit more of a sense of urgency about it with the duct on. To each their own I guess, but the thinking that turbo cars need as much air to the intake as possible would make you think that the Powerduct would be more a positive than a negative for our cars, no?
  16. What do I think? I think that the Ignis ones are probably better value than a second hand OEM. On that Ignis site, it is one guys opinion of an item he sells so take from that what you will. 0.1% fail rate is pretty damn good, but I wonder what OEM HID fail rates are. Dunno man, I know which way I would go... but it ain't my money nor is it my car. As an aside, keep in mind that aftermarket HID's are a defectable item in Vic and whilst the OEM HIDs are questionable (no washer or self leveling), you are less likely to get done for them being that is how the car came from factory. Ignis are cheaper and you get 2... OEM will just bolt straight in though.... hmmm
  17. Hey Tom, how about replacing it with a cheap working second hand OEM ballast off Yahoo Auctions? Should end up costing under $200 and if sent by EMS, you should have it next week.
  18. Smartarse... but I was actually referencing your "will scan some copies" statement from last year.
  19. I have found that a runner spacer will help with with highway cruising as it will let you accelerate using that first 5mm without boost (won't be as rapidly of course). Will also be easier to hold your gear and speed
  20. Yep, I know that's what I was referring to
  21. Welcome! As with the other guys, pics please. As for fuel economy... there are a few things you can "bolt on" to help with highway economy, but I am sure you will get to that. For the mean time, try accelerating to 10kph above the speed you want to travel at then gently ease off the pedal so it slows gradually. Hold at the speed you want and you should see better economy figures. (Yes, it does make a difference )
  22. lol.... 211.... sorta. Remember when he dyno'd after installing the intake pipe? That same dyno read 221awkw. Then at the dyno shoot out it read ~20awkw lower for some reason. Would need to see it on a different dyno methinks, but I can tell you one thing... that damn thing f**king MOVES now. Considerably faster than before (it actually pushed me well back in my seat last night - hadn't done that before @ "221awkw"). The dyno has to be reading low as Scotty's M35 is, from my experience, easily quicker than a 2009 Audi S5 Coupe Yep, would be pretty happy with that
  23. lol... Axis grill won't fit your car bud
