  1. That's bullshit Steve. F*cking arseholes. To answer your question, yes the M35 windscreen is the same as a V35's. (My mate has had his M35 windscreen replaced with a V35 unit)
  2. Cool thanks. Just one more question.... who is Jamie?
  3. Have you tried "Famous"? 1300 661 301 Might be cheaper than Just Car...
  4. Can you get it over 2800rpm? Is the idle smooth now? Is it running richer than it did before?
  5. Welcome James, is that the VQ25dd? I don't believe that the turbo came out in 2WD. How responsive is it? I would assume that the fuel economy is fantastic. (sorry, always been curious about that engine for some reason )
  6. Nah mate, I have the OEM Clarion unit (single DIN - My RS has the three guages below it). I have the PA11-NIS in mine, very easy install once you get the console apart. Plugs straight into the rear of the unit (plugs are obvious where they go). I only need to hit the AUX button on my head unit to switch from radio to CD, then to iPod. The stereo buttons still control the tracks (skip, back etc). I am pretty sure that the "SAT" button will display information from the PA15 on the popup screen (the PA11 does not have this facility) but is not necessary to listen to your tunes.
  7. AFM is stuffed would be my bet. Happened to my mates M35. Run as rich as hell, idled poorly (obviously) and couldn't push it pas about 2200rpm. I may have a second hand AFM lying around.... or you could just get an Xtrail's AFM from Nissan and plug it straight in (my mate has a 350z AFM which works fine)
  8. Comp or 3rd party F&T?
  9. Are these just the stockies or do they have an indicator on them?
  10. When the hell are you going to get into the serious mods Scott?
  11. Shannons. Without mods (from memory) around $850, but that was a couple of years ago. Currently with a number of mods, rating 1, 33y.o, agreed value, $500 excess... $1032 (as an aside, I just added my Nismo suspension and PM35 Axis S front end conversion which bumped up the agreed value, but not the premium )
  12. Nice choice. The factory Aero is definitely nicer than the standard RS "smile". All you will need to do is pick up some black mesh from Autobarn (about $30), really finishes it off nicely.
  13. Well, going by the illustrations in FAST, NM35's share front brake lines with one other car... the V35 "S.4WD" from 2001-2004.
  14. Don't worry too much about scraping. I have a PM35 Axis S front on my RS and I don't scrape... maybe that is because I take driveways slowly or on an angle they are a bit steep.
  15. Why would you skimp on something as important as engine oil?
  16. Nissan?
  17. No problemo. Glad it helped I have a Nismo S-Tune kit on my car. Very nice all round kit. Lowers the car just enough (20mm or so) and has a great ride, whilst it is firmer than the floaty stock setup it certainly soaks up most bumps and the rebound is beautifully controlled. Can't really go wrong if you don't need to have adjustable suspension.
  18. lol... tell me about it! Anyway, spotted that yellow face lifted C34 again on Penninsula Fwy on Saturday around midday.
  19. lol... when?
  20. Have you thought about the Kakimoto front pipe? Is 80mm (3.15") and would match up with your Kaki cat-back nicely I have one on mine
  21. You may be searching and waiting for some time Chris. The Dayz M35 only ran in the series 1 model and was very, very limited at that. Perhaps if you are after something similar, you could go after a Kenstyle PM35 half rear bumper If you are having trouble finding it, shoot either Import Monster or Jesse Streeter an email with the link to the page requesting a price. I am sure they would both be more than willing to help.
  22. Mmmm... Kakimoto N1 Hyper Mega. Very pretty indeed. Can't beat JDM aftermarket gear for quality, particularly for exhausts Out of curiosity, who did you get it in through and how long ff it take? Should be around the 95dB mark at the tip if I recall correctly. Will sound awesome though. Youtube vid please!
  23. Actually, the crescendo is quite disappointing
  24. Some M35's came from factory with two largish plastic bits on each side of the rear numberplate area. (Queuing Nickcorr with more info on these plastic bits) Maybe the plastic bits have been removed and left two "dimples"? Pics would definitely help.
  25. Haven't really hear of any induction pipes cracking and I suppose that the bit he is referring to is the narrow cast pipe that goes from the elbow to the turbo. Shouldn't be a problem there. A split in the rubber or a split intercooler pipe would be more plausible, especially on the outlet pipe of the intercooler (gets quite brittle). M35's have quite a loud induction sound as you know, especially from the turbo. Changing the intake pipe will change your consumption... and not for the better if you enjoy your boost lol.
