  1. Yep, +1 to all of that. Well worth the effort though
  2. Checked for blown fuses?
  3. Brilliant. "speed dimples" FTW!
  4. 1996-2002? So it includes early M35's?
  5. lol... tell me about it. Have had my powerduct on for a while now and have driven through some pretty damn serious downpours (95mm in 3 hours for example). No issues. Which filter are you using Matt?
  6. Fronts only though Steve
  7. and bitching about scraping can easily be stopped.... I will swap you my spare OEM suspension for your Nismo S-tune. See? Pissing and moaning easily averted mate
  8. hmm a RS260 with R32 GTR Group A running gear I guess you would have to paint it red and put big GIO stickers all over it..
  9. The AFM is in the solid black pipe that is bolted onto your airbox Just unclip the grey connector on top instead of removing the whole thing
  10. Exhaust manifold to turbo flange may be leaking? Mine is making that sound again and it certainly isn't any join from the back from the turbo down to the muffler.
  11. Actually, Sydney has 1 or 2 tuners that will tune the Fcon. None in Vic.
  12. Guys, not 100% sure that pan will fit our cars. Will have a quick check on FAST, but I think that the 350z/v35 pan is different to our cars.
  13. +1.... maybe they were confused by the grounding point on the exhaust? Hope you got it all sorted Dunc (sometimes Nissan dealerships need to be TOLD about the car)
  14. Can only do so much mate Stagea Workshop Manual lol... nearly 2 years and just over half way there
  15. Amsoil are a Group IV (PAO base) oil.... well at least they were as of Feb last year (I looked into becoming a distributor, thus received a heap of their newsletters - which were quite informative actually ) Thought it was a pretty good oil from experience. You will have to find an Australian distributor. Both Henry at Performancelub.com and the guys from Lubrication Management can supply Amsoil products. Both are in Vic, have purchased from both and can recommend either for Amsoil products - although I do prefer to purchase via Henry Just Google "amsoil" and filter it for "australian websites only" and you should find one close to wherever you are.
  16. Disagree there Nick, gotta say that I love the way it is set up... I especially notice how much I like it when I take my wife's car to the servo and have to reach down to pull that stupid fuel release lever. I mean, it is a one way hinge! What could possibly go wrong with it?!* *special not to the "Karma" and "Murphy" and his law, I did not pose this question to be shown what can go wrong with it
  17. Would be great if they reconsider, was just hunting for information from GW before putting it in my car for the first time. Damn, guess I will be sticking with Redline. Oh, and for a more "reasonable" price on Redline, speak to Henry at PerformanceLub. Nice guy, great service and good pricing... forget Bursons lol
  18. Better start buying now then. Just got these statements in two emails from Andrew at Gulf Western; We will be discontinuing this product line in the coming months, so once our current stock is exhausted it will not be blended again. When asked what can be done to ensure that Sougi S 6000 is not a "one and done" line, this is what I received The only thing I could say is stock up beforehand. Unfortunately the decision has been made. Regards, Andrew Vicary Gulf Western Premium Quality Lubricating Oil Po Box 515 Kingswood NSW Looks like I will be staying (and paying) for Redline
  19. Sounds like a simple and reasonable solution
  20. LMFAO Same thing with me, picked the car up which had no fuel in it. Went to the closest servo and was searching for the fuel lid release for a couple of minutes... decided it was a "push open" fuel lip so went over to it and pushed on it... didn't open and the car was not locked (I pushed on the wrong side lol). Guy at the bowser next me and my chaeffeur mate decided to look all over the car for the release button. Ended up call Ben from Northshore who told me to push on the cap... walked over to the car and pushed on the correct side of the filler cap. I have never felt that a filler cap could open in such a mocking manner.
  21. Couldn't agree more. If it still ain't right, try parking with the nose downhill and finish filling using your "Dandenong" syringe via the bleeder. I have found it is the most thorough way of getting all air our of the system. It does take some time though EDIT: pipster11's method will usually work though and is the same method I use to change the coolant (although I DID get a small air lock last time)
  22. no question... ... although maybe they are actually waaay ahead of the curve and decided to try for less drag from one side of the car
  23. Yes, very much so. That is all.
