  1. Yep, seems every race there is at least one whinging, whining radio transmission from Homo... usually about tyres though lol. He is damn quick, but doesn't seem to realise that car "management" is a major part or racing
  2. Really? I didn't think we were quietly sarcastic at all
  3. Have you contacted Arron at Import Monster yet? They would be able to source the Masa kit and bring it over in one of their containers. You could then pick it up from their warehouse in Bayswater so save on postage
  4. Put your tool away, no need to show off M35 fronts are 24-25mm thick, R33 are larger than R32, so will be much thicker than the standard M35 discs.
  5. +1 Mine used to shudder when reversing slowly on full lock, changed over to the Nulon ATF (can also go in your Trans and ATTESSA - nice and easy) and no more shudders
  6. Don't waste your time looking for a trans filter, there isn't one. You can flush out what is in there and replace i with either Nissan Matic J or Nulon 100% Synthetic ATF. I have found that the trans is very smooth and quiet with the Nulon stuff in there (even more so than with the Matic J). Out of curiosity regarding using E85, what ECU are you running (if any)? Have you changed out your fuel pump for something without plastic internals? What injectors are you running? (sorry for all the questions )
  7. Oooh, no thanks. Why do the grill and bumper on that car remind me of the painted plastic gayness of a NASCAR?
  8. Can NOT recommend. Take your Skyline to Racepace instead.
  9. 350z or v35
  10. 4.6L is recommended, but no issue putting all 5L in. You'll be fine with 10w40 (ignore Nissan's suggested 7.5w30 = too thin)
  11. Not much else usable left on that thing but the engine lol
  12. Whoa man... it is like you just summed up the meaning of life in one post... incredible... and the whole "money is not important" thing you had going on there was so deep (how did you pay for the milk btw?).
  13. E85 is $1 per Litre. ~350kms (average) until the light comes on, yes... although I am sure he could get it out to about 400kms if he tried
  14. Every 40,000. Have used Nulon 100% Synthetic ATF for the past year and a half or so. Is compatible with Nissan Matic J oil. Gear changes feel fantastic under heavy or light load. Have found that the PWR 6cyl trans cooler are pretty damn effective and help our RE5RO5A transmissions from getting too hot
  15. lol... thanks for the heads up. Fortunately I have already driven Scotty's M35 which runs on E85 with around 250awkw. Only issue with E85 is the lack of economy (and supply at current). We have had it available in Vic for some time now, but only at a couple of servos and I am not a fan of driving 40-50mins to fill up a tank that only gets me ~350kms. Will be interesting to see how many servos have E85 once the Commonwhore is released. That Caltex E85 sounds interesting and should be easy to come by if all goes as they claim, but I am concerned about the variance in Ethanol/ULP ratio from batch to batch (anywhere from 70/30 to 85/15 is their stated tolerance )
  16. 626kms 78.8L (not impressive, but it was fun ) As an aside, I would not recommend running so low on fuel in an M35, I accelerated moderately up a minor incline, only to have the engine drop out on me for a split second due to a lack of fuel picked up by the pump lol.
  17. For towing? No contest, go the C34. M35 has an alloy sub frame, so not good for a tow car.
  18. Liquid injection would be awesome, but I am afraid it is available as dual-fuel only at this point (just got off the phone with Australian LPG Warehouse) They have done mono-fuel LiLPG setups, but have had nothing but issues with startup where the LPG has vapourised in the lines (Winter has separate issues to Summer also). When they get their heads together and figure out a method of having the car start safely on LiLPG and that complies with the relevant ADR's, then I think it will be a more appealing option. He did say that the dual-fuel option was no problem as he has a ute using this setup that pushes 420rwkw with no issues at all.
  19. Dunno much about them (yet), which build years are eligible? hmm... love the thought of an AWD twin turbo V8.... if only Toyota could figure out how to make a nice interior
  20. The Liquid injection systems are not a standalone unit.... yet.... and must remain dual fuel setup (due to start up). Once (if) they get that sorted, I will be heading down that path, but I hate dual fuel and I don't trust vapour injection
  21. I see whta you are saying, but it wouldn't happen. The price quoted on the website is "landed and complied" through J-spec. Nowhere does it "break down" the amount that Northshore would have to make in the equation. Is this car eligible for import? Yes, we have checked this car and it is a model eligible for import under the SEVS compliance laws. We have also allowed $2800 for compliance, which is a reasonably typical compliance price available for this particular model. Also, how would they know how much compliance is for a 3.5L M35? Just as simple this time as it was last time - if you can't sell it, don't advertise it stating you can
  22. And why shouldn't Northshore only comply cars for themselves? I don't see other companies putting their hands in their pockets to get testing done. Sounds to me like J-spec bad-mouthing because they cannot free-load off Northshore's effort.
  23. They can be made to, but they are not bolt-on
