Anyone Know Who Makes This Kit?
iamhe77 replied to Bis-e Bee's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
Yep, I was looking at grabbing the "Mr Plow" spoiler.... but went a different (re - better) route -
You cannot get the Dolphin bonnet anymore. They stopped making it early last year Your grill is made by Dolphin... and is quite nice, might I say (they go for ~$400 plus shipping if you are curious) I am sure you could get the driving lights for the Aero kit... they do pop up from time to time on Yahoo Auctions so browsing the Import Monster website regularly is a pretty good idea.

Very correct The centre part of the dash is from the Autech Axis S (6-speed man, RWD) and has been clipped into an NM35.... although it DOES have the Axis S seats Very strange beast that one I would think. Eugine, are you positive it has the VQ35? Is it definitely AWD? I know there was a slight overlap with the models where there were 3.5L powerplants installed in the Pokémon faced (NM35) models. The "PM" designation came with the face lifted model.

Yep. It was the Nissan Aero option for the series 2 M35. Shame they didn't do a completely new front bar though. -
Shannons will kill that price

Front = WIN Side = WIN Rear - Hard FAIL Interior = FAIL Engine = WIN

Paint Code For M35 Gold
iamhe77 replied to KNG35M's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
What is the code you have Damo? -
Okay, so after a fair while of running the aluminium spacers (and enjoying the benefits!) there will be kits with the spacers made from Phenolic which will eliminate the heat soak that the aluminium unit suffered from. This will lower intake temps, which should provide a power and torque increase instead of just the torque increase of the original. As for pricing/timing/pics etc.... I am sure Andy will fill you in as he is the catalyst behind the change

Sorry to disappoint you Chris, but Kids Heart do NOT intend to sell them at all. I did ask them directly (lol) out of curiosity, but you can also read this in the forum on their website. Even if they did, I doubt it would be for $10kUSD... mainly because they use genuine R35 panels/bonnet/bar (and lights obv) for the front and make up their own side and rear parts for the rest of the kit. Also, take note of the R35 style exhaust. Difficult to do with an AWD M35. It was purely done as use as a marketing tool.... which works bloody well IMO

I didn't realise that Monza did extruded cores on their coolers!

I Think You Can Understand Why Im Pissed Off
iamhe77 replied to infiltrator's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
Yes, I agree with what you say in they are better than 4WD's from that perspective... but what if (and work with me here), what if all softroader owners were in wagons, sedans or people movers? You would have NO trouble with visibility and road space then would you? I have no problem with (real) 4WD owners, who actually use their vehicle for it's intended purpose regularly, having their 2 ton bricks on the road. If it is their only vehicle, then so be it. As an aside, there are a lot of (real) 4WD owners out there that are a similar community to us believe it or not (they love their cars and mod for pleasure and purpose). I DO have a problem with owners who have to be in a softroader to "see over" and "look down" on other motorists. I DO have a problem with a Mum dropping her 1 or 2 children off at school in something larger/higher than a sedan/wagon/people mover.... Half the time the car is just too big for them to see what they are running into and the other half, they have no idea what they are doing or how to go about doing it. I DO have a problem with the thought that (real) 4WD's and softroaders can be compared to one another. They are completely different vehicles for a completely different purpose. I say ban the softroader.... yes that includes the stupid X3/5/7/9 and the Porsche Cayenne where the idea of "offroad" is a gravel road or or emergence lane. -

That sucks! Bloody women in "softroaders". Actually, all "softroaders" should be banned! You either have a wagon, 4WD (a real one, you know that can go off road) or a people mover (Honda Odyssey etc) Best of luck with the repairs, Marty. -
From my experience, no question the answer is S1 M35. Was going to write an essay, but cbf'd so I will keep it short(ish). Test drove all three models of C34. The RS Fours that I drove underwhelmed me with their power delivery which was disappointing considering I was coming from an R31 (GXE if you must know). The interior also did not impress either myself nor my wife. I did like the front of the C34 S2, but felt I needed more than a nice front end to hand over $25k lol. Saw the first two M35's for sale on Carsales a night after test driving C34's (s1 & S2) and Legnums. Loved the all black, leather interior of one of them... negotiated and purchased sigh unseen. Still love it. The interior is MUCH classier and nicer than the C34 (I also prefer it over the silver plastic of the S2 M35's for that matter), the car is considerably quicker than the RS Four C34's stock for stock, is better on fuel (marginally), looks nicer than all C34's which are just too damn square and boxy for my liking and rides soooo much better. Yes it is more difficult to mod, but there is a strange satisfaction that comes from figuring out what will work best and how to make/mod it as opposed to just picking parts from a catalogue. Yes, the 260 is the fastest of the lot.... and the easiest to mod for big power.... but it is still a long way behind the M35 as a complete car inside and out. Having said all that, I have yet to drive a 3.5L M35. Pretty sure they would be pretty easy to pull big numbers from due to Z33 kits etc.

You will also need the "Navi DVD ROM" which is the brains for the unit... I am of course assuming you want the info that gets displayed on the popup screen (fuel economy, servicing etc) EDIT: Dunno if that will be compatible with a normal head unit either... I don't believe that the integrated unit was available for the RS (you would probably have the single DIN head unit and the 3 gauge cluster (torque split, battery charge, boost)
-
Try this then (just copy and paste) ステージア m35 It will filter out all the mircoscopes & machine guns. Another way would be to use the menu on the left of the screen to sort through categories.... you can miss stuff this way though Be wary with headlights with Angel eyes.... the majority of the time they require you to send your headlights over for modifying... and shipping costs on headlights is really nasty.
-
Yep, again jump on the Import Monster website to browse Yahoo Auctions. You will need to make sure you get the screen, bracket assembly, DVD ROM and possibly the centre console (there are usually one or two complete sets available)
-
Since it is a factory spoiler from the Aero kit, I would say Nissan can help you out (just get the part number for them ) Or you could talk to Aaron at Import Monster or Jesse Streeter... Either could send one over for you

Since he is talking about the latter series of Caldina, I strongly disagree. I think that the latter Caldina looks much nicer than a stock RS M35 from the front and possibly the side profile as well. The rear I do not like and much prefer the "volvo" rear end of the M35 (especially lowered with a larger exhaust ) But as you said, beauty is in the eye of the beholder and any argument about appearance is an endless one. Having said that, if there is something on your car that you don't like.... change it.

True, BUT if you are driving on a winding gravel road "synchro" is fantastic
