  1. Haha, you do humour me although I am sure that is not your intent. My NM35 Stagea was insured over 5 years ago and no, it wasn't listed in Redbook nor in Glasses Guide, nor do I belong to a car club or hold a CAMS license. Your first paragraph reeks of a lack of effort or excuses... or both. Maybe try a little harder like ringing Shanons back and speaking to another operator. Not difficult. Just because you couldn't get it done doesn't mean it can't be done, but I understand we are all speaking from our relative experiences. Second paragraph is nice, thank you for your well wishes. Very classy. I did actually have my car written off last October as pv35gt8 correctly stated. My car was insured for well over what it was worth (called agreed value for your reference) and Shannons paid it out (4 business days) after the assessor spoke to me about the possible repair bill, the difficulty in obtaining the correct parts and then signing it off as a repairable write off. Reference - my car mods included had a full front end update to the series 2 model, suspension, turbo back exhaust, intake, intercooler kit, turbo, additional coolers, Fcon etc etc. Like I said, as long as it is listed on your policy, it is part of your agreement with the insurer and their agreement with you. Whilst you are online, feel free to find me a price on a 2001-2003 250t RS Four Stagea in Redbook... actually scratch that, I'll do the work for you http://www.redbook.c...ilo=Spec&eapi=2 OP - Shannons, Lumley, Just Car, Famous are four just off the top of my head that insure imports. Give them a call and find out for yourself instead of asking for Epinions (factual or not).
  2. I do believe they would unless it required modifying bracketing, arms etc Do you need to create an elongated hole? If so, no they are not a modifying shop.
  3. Ben (J-Spec) was only given 4 plates as far as I know... as was Prestige Motorsport if I recall correctly. Doubtful either have plates available, but you never know.
  4. Which is one of the reasons Japlink did mine
  5. f**k you carry on sometimes. Shannons will insure your car. Even if it is your daily (as my Stagea is). As long as you list your modifications and said mods are not hazardous/dangerous they can't decline your insurance. An insurance policy is actually a contract between you and the company so just make sure that everything is listed.
  6. Take a drive to Tyrepower in Frankston. They really do excellent work and really fixed up the settings that another place put on my old M35. Just got my wheels balanced/aligned there yesterday morning
  7. VQ35 powered M35's (2005-2007) can be complied by Northshore Prestige or Japlink in Sydney or possibly iRev (http://www.irev.com.au/)in Melbourne.
  8. I can get 10 sets sent to me, but I can't ship them to people for that. Feel free to post the link. IF you guys are interested in a GB, I would need a minimum order of 10 and the cost of each will be $92 shipped to your door.
  9. Nige and his fkn huge balls at 1:04 Unfortunate isn't it? Note to Webber: The best in any profession don't take days off.
  10. No one did actually. I can look into a GB for them if you want?
  11. lol, have one on it's way in a box of goodies from the US. Fair bit cheaper than that though. Downside is it isn't for my car EDIT: Literally just rolled up. So beautiful...
  12. I can't really compare it with and without as it came with the rear bar (and a "different" front bar) installed already and I have not been bothered to remove it yet. I can tell you that it corners much better and flatter than my NM35 which had Nismo suspension (current PM35 has Bilstein struts and stock springs).
  13. Can't make it, too much work to do
  14. But you don't have a Stagea - turbo or NA - do you Aaron.
  15. They should. I presume you are referring to the hub (yes they are hubsentric). Will check on the weekend as my stockies are stored away
  16. I have a set of 30mm bolt on if you are interested....
  17. Perhaps the wiring has broken. Seen that before (wiring is too tight and snaps just near the sensor)
  18. Plenum off. Rocker cover off (12mm bolts I think) Remove rubber seal install rubber seal in rocker cover Get Fkd off trying to keep the damn seal in the cover whilst reinstalling lol Bolt down rocker cover Reinstall plenum etc Look forward to reading your write up Paul and hearing how you go about keeping the seal in the cover when reinstalling I could definitely fyp...
  19. Yes and yes (that is what spacers are mainly use for after all)
  20. replace your fuel filter Only time I got that error was when the fuel filter was restricting flow due to being a little clogged
  21. Hmmm Kidding, I'd be in too if I didn't already have one
  22. Isn't he like, a S14 owner? Aren't they talking about the youngest Stagea owner?
  23. Don't Bob Jane, The Tyre Factory etc deal in OZ?
  24. It does indeed
