  1. i tried key bangers in my corona heaps with no success im actually glad the topic on oil pumps had been brought up, i was wondering if a lower limit like say 4-5k like u would set with a bee R for the wank factor would be as damaging as a say 7k limit for when u actually run out of revs. it appears the answer is yes

  6. i got one from a group buy from psi parts was $90 i think but i think they are selling them now here is the old group buy page i just had a quick look on the psi page and couldnt find them dan
  7. the reason it boost harder after 4500 is coz its a standard dual stage boost solenoid they all boost harder after 4500, the stuttering and coffing is coil pack related. also search for a thread that over rides the second boost kick for full boost from go to wo.
  8. hey all im not sure on what i need as far as clutch and flywheel. im not after brands or type recemondation just what to buy for. so do i buy for a 25 to suit the gear box or a 26 to suit the motor? or do i get a 26 fly wheel with a 25 clutch. its a r32 26 and a s2 r33 gear box any help would be great thanks Dan

PM N1GTR he was having a group buy thing for head light reconditioning that was ment to run until june i think but had to shut it down early... it was going to be like $140 ish i think from memory but was a pro job and would take about a week in sydney.. he could prolly give u a number to fix it up for good. or i use mothers plastic polish works a treat and lasts about a month or so
  10. just filled up 52 and a bit litre and got 379kms so about 13.75L/100km and cleaned car and put in new battery and removed shopping list.. an eventful arvo
  11. yeh i didnt modify to get good fuel and am not really complaining about what i get. but u always want more for your money.. and econemy is how u get that. if i give my throttle a little blip at idle i get bulk black fuel smoke out the back. and all my driving is off boost and around 3500rpm changes. and it takes about a week for the bumper to start showing signs of a rich car. oh well... thats just the way it is.. i hope my 26 has a slightly leaner tune.
  12. yeh i have no idea aye its def due a retune. its been 2 years.. i have tried all the other little things like o2 replacement i have a cat the only fuel mod i have is a pump on standard injectors and reg.. hmmmm so me usage isnt as good as i thought.. bummer
  13. hey all went down south this weekend and was suprised at how my fuel consuption went.. went from carine caltex to capel and then back to the same servo and did some quick math and got 9.8L per 100km. sure this comprised of majority off boost driving but when i drive around too and from work i am almost using 55L for 350 km (15.7L/100km) and that is also off boost drivng apart from 2 WOTs on the way home (onto ried and freeway) and when i drive with a bit of boost i struggle to get close to 300km. just some "fuel" for thought pardon the pun Dan

  16. obviously that engine is in a proper building room, but what conditions does a building room require apart from being extremely kleen. and how long can u leave a bottom end unsealed for??

  18. any opinions on my application i am tending to go with dirtgarages slightly larger clearnces, meeting the manufactorer in the middle.. as i have said its going tomorrow so an opinion would be great its in a 26 at 86.5

  20. yeh i would also go gtrs over T28 and i think the vipec boostcontrol funstion will be up to the task i think Guilt Toy is even using the standard GTST solonoid with his, dont hold me to that..
  21. hey guys, so to steal the thread but i am dropping my CPs off tomorrow at the machinist, my mate/ building adviser has not used CPs before. im looking at around 350kw-400kw at rears and spinning to around 8500 tops. can i get an idea of what a couple of u recomend as far as piston to bore and ring gaps and how much better is the ACL oil ring over the CP.

  23. GT, after all ur playing around.. how long do u think it will take a tunner to go from standard ecu to a full tune that includes all the cool stuff the vipec has to offer, such as setting up anti lag launch control flat shift cycle idle. and getting the boost control fiarly dialled in??
