  2. i also heard of this happening so i got a stainless one fabricated for me for 100-150 cant remember when i put on a Z32afm and a few other things, being stainless it looks good as well as serves a good purpose... also it stops the pod from moving so i didnt need to put a bracket to hold it steady.. didnt think the price was too bad

  7. i have got a one of jims clutches in my car now. had it for a month and it is a very nice clutch to do my daily driving with. i got the full monty he does and is as light if not lighter then the stock clutch.. however grabs incredibly well. the lightness makes daily driving much more comfortable then have a brass button or something like that... i would def recomend
  8. i hit my limiter at jsut a touch ove 7000. thats with a pfc.. if u got a stock turbo boost will prolly start to fade by then so there isnt always that much gain taking it that far...
  9. i no when i took my 33 spoiler of it felt like it was going to break before it popped off. just try hard. and your taking it off who cares if it breaks

  11. yeh sorry mate.. what i was asking is firstly could this be a correct reading and secondly how bad of a reading is this.. the engine light did come on how ever when it happened. injector duty was below 90% and a/f was 5110 but i do have a Z32 afm so i dont think thats the prob. what is a reading to be worried about
  12. i just checked all my levels on my hand controler. after getting the back out around a corner and hitting the rev limter in second my knock level read a max of 79. my previous highest knock level was a 19 again when hitting the limter. i had to double check what i was reading because it seemed a lot high
  13. i would also like to no if a gtr plenum could go straight onto a 25?? also the ebay "greddy" plenums they say they are a copy, good or bad idea
  14. yeh when i first got my pfc i had my engine light flash 3 times at me when i was putting the foot down. i got a z32 afm so i was told it was the injectors
  15. well i want a 3540 as well on a stock engine(please dont hate me for it) can this turbo be mounted on the stock manifold or is it a high mount turbo only?? also can it be used with the stock oil/water lines or does all that need to be replaced also are they only externaly gated turbos??? just answers would be nice... enough arguing boys
  16. i changed a gear box in my old car on my front drive with nothing but normal jacks and a few bricks... im still hear typing
  17. hey guy/girls my apexi avc-r ebc is um well not working. it doesnt read the same boost pressure as my apexi boost guage. when the car is off but the accessaries or on. my guage and stock in dash gauge are reading 0 but on my avcr is still reading about -200 or around that number when the car is on its reads prettymuch the same as the guage aroun -.5 ish but when i drive the difference becomes more noticble... it happended after i got i back from a work shop but i didnt take it back. silly me. my car doesnt hold boost very well at all and spikes pretty out of control. normall hit about .9 but on the avcr it never reads any more then .3 does any one no how to change the reading so its right. or do i have to take it to a work shop bear in mind im very broke and would much prefer a cost free solution any help would be much apreciated thanks dan
  18. hey i noticed last time i went down the drag strip about 3 or so weeks ago that on my pfc hand controller that my engine was knocking... now i dont no if there is a safe level or not its not huge i dont think it goes past the first little marker if you are only diplaying knock level on it but when i put the foot down and it get up to 4500 and high it starts to be noticeable... can some one let me now if this is ok or if i should start saving
  19. im all about what ever is cheaper but now that caltex has realeased 98 vortex i use it over bp just coz my mum shops at woolworths and i get 4cent off a litre.. im a pizza boy every cent counts in the quest for more power

  21. congrats dan and the rest of the commitee on a great cruise. i was so blown away on how many cars there was. first skyline cruise and have only ever been on a silvia cruise and that was at city west and bearly half filled the outside car park. is good to hear that some good dollars where made for the starlight foundation. and only got pulled over once and that was for doing nothing other then driving luckily notihng came of it cant wait for next time. will see u all there
