Please dont think you can put any turbo on, no matter how similar it is to the stock one. You will need the ECU tuned to suit. You could get the stock one highflowed, but without a tuned ECU it will feel worse than the stock one. You will hit R&R everytime you give it some and have reduced fuel consumption. Either buy a good second hand stock turbo or wait till you have enough money to buy a tunable ECU.

Well on this engine there are 2x 16inch thermos on the 55mm radiator. Also an 8inch thermo on the oil cooler. No aircon in the car.

I know a guy who has a 2.9L RB with a half grout filled block. Drives it on the weekends. Just make sure you have a very good cooling system.

Hi all, My car has been sitting for about 3 months and the other night the alarm went off, telling me the battery was dead. When i hooked my trickle charge to the battery it does not start charging (just stays on standby) I have been told that the battery needs a very small amount of charge to get the trickle charger going? If i leave the trickle charger hooked to the battery will it eventually start charging it? Just to add the battery is less than 6 months old. CHEERS

If its not Garrett then its not a GT3582. Get something with a bit more of a reputation rather than buying an unknown turbo.

R33 use H1 bulbs.

Id say the idle was lifted to give a bit more vacuum at idle with those big cams. Otherwise it would stall.

Why dont you try and source one locally? That way if you do have issues you are not traveling around the world to deal with them. Or get your engine recoed by a reputable engine builder?

Boring??? Small??? The 3076.82 i had on my car produced 370rwkw and had full boost by 3900rpm. Smashed anything on the rd and IMO a more of a handful than the GT3582.82 i have now. Light switch power from low RPM compared to the gradual push of power from the 35R.

Just want to let you know they are not genuine Philips HID kits. They only come in one packaging.
