If you work for a company with fleet vehicles you can normally get cheap GS through the company that looks after the insurance.
I got mine through my missus work for $400
Love your car Phil!
Clean, all mods are very tasteful and well thought out.
Makes me want to pull my finger out and get my kit on and painted
Where did you get your rear diffuser?
Latest is Tomei 2 way diff, Greddy remote switching system and 4 point harness.
Preparation for Powercruise
If anyone is going out this weekend come and say hi
OK car is ready to go!!!
New diff is in, just got some more fuel and picked up my harness.
Not entirely sure how to mount it but ill have a better look at it over the weekend.
Diff is in. Feels pretty good. Terry was able to make it a 1.5 way (near enough)
Bed it in for about 15mins as instructed, but ill give it another go later just for piece of mind that it is done properly.
Terry and the boys at Award did a perfect job and their customer service is second to none. Ended up costing cheaper than quoted which was a nice surprise.
Im afraid you will either have to fork out for a PPG gearset or keep putting in stock boxes.
Im on my second stock box. They are stronger than you think.
It also comes down to how you drive the car, you wont be using 600hp all the time.
After speaking to a few people i would spend the extra $$ on an OS gearset or PPG.
I know a silvia owner that has blown 4 straight cut gearsets and now has a stock GTST box in it!
Getting close! Getting excited!
Pray the rain stays away.
Just got some last minute goodies, GReddy remote switching system, 4 point SFI harness, and Tomei 2 way going in on Friday. Should chirp second!
Tyres= check
E85= check
Bring it on
You dont need it mate. Unless you are running 3 bar of boost
Your tuner would know how far to push it. And definitely wouldnt be anywhere near the point of needing octane booster.
