You want to run 400kw with on a 25/30 with a 20 gearbox? i give it 3 trips to redline before it strips the gears. A reliable 400kw engine is not a "cheap" venture.
400kw is asking for trouble with stock rods. Get some forgies they are only ~$800 - check with a member called spoolup he sells them.
Frink was suggesting a 7AM departure (so meet up 6:45 or so) from the Shell @ EPIC. It is only a 50-60 minute drive to Wakefield. Cars wont be going round the track until 9:00-9:30am.
Due to the extra deck height of the RB30 Block you require a belt that is approximately 11 teeth longer (Providing you relocated one of the tensioners from the factory location to above the water pump if you didn't its a different belt again).
A total of around 152 teeth will be needed the Dayco part number for this setup is 94407.
Does the V66 still have launch control built in like the V88? Can you use the anti lag module with the V66 or only the V88? Does the V66 still have the adaptive knock control that the V88 has?
Aus gets the Euro version of the civic (bottom red one), they took out the IRS and made it nice and heavy. I would much rather the Japanese version, but the stock suspension is probably a bit stiff for the average joe.
Maybe you should take it somewhere and ask them to modify the tune from 0 - 3200 to be much leaner for fuel econ. also make sure you have O2 feedback turned on in the menu (assuming its a PFC).
