  1. you can use bkr6eix -11 iridiums or copper bcpr6es -11 or 8 gap both ngk brand thou.
  2. you have done the right thing so far, id go ahead and get the raidiator core recoed or cleaned professionally no doubt it is blocked.... also change the radiator cap....
  3. will be buying trying some BCPR6ES next service..... i decided to check what plugs the car had in it , turns out there ngk iridiums and after at least 25,ooo kms they were still good even the ground looked ok..... What a pain it is just getting to the spark plugs thou lol.... i read alot of ppl change them every 5000kms, i dont think i can be bothered doing it that often im thinking 10,000kms intervals should be alright?
  4. i have read a few threads about this dilemma of what is best and been left abit confused on what to choose, i am changing the spark plugs after 4 yrs...lol although the car runs good i assume its running a iridium type long life plug, day to day normal driving, i do notice when driven hard i get the hesitation which has been covered on other threads before. Car is a r34 gtt has cat back exhaust, boost set at 11psi and pod +cai.... alot of diferent plugs being suggested part numbers bcpr6es,bkr6e1x,pfr6a-11,bkr6eya etc.. i am thinking to try a heat range 6 plug and .8 gap due to the extra boost, does anyone know the ngk part number? i want it pre gapped dont want to be mucking around regapping them....anyone can clarify what they run in there r34 with similar small mods?
  5. someone mentioned already but definatly go the 1j vvti version single turbo as found in mid 90's chasers etc...
  6. good choice ive driven a 1jz powered chaser a few times it pulls harder and with less fuss. in a r32 will be awesome!
  7. your spending the cash just go the 1j its a better motor, be different. makes more torque stock, even more than the rb25 neo im sure.

  9. i had a mechanical diff put into a previous car i had, i never did any of this i just didnt do burnouts and i changed the oil after like 1000kms, and that diff worked fine.... what a waste of fuel doing figure eights lol... a good mountain drive fair enough.
  10. the radiator you got i would get it professionally pressure cleaned out... you dnt know the history of it maybe blocked up ..... and change the thermostat.. if the fan working properly?
  11. maybe your battery is flat id try replacing it. may not be holding charge properly...
  12. when i have bought new shocks there held in compressed position with plastic tie etc......this maybe for less space maybe? i read somewhere probably on this board lol...... that having all the weight of suspension componants on unloaded shock is not good. for long periods.....
  13. ive heard having your car jacked up for long periods is not good for the shock absorbers?? any truth to that?
  14. if head gasket is blown oil mixing with water.......
  15. is there milky residue under your engine oil cap?? if the car is running rough it not a good sign.
  16. v8's are good but i think what lets them down are these bogan owners (not all owners) who dont respect other cars of smaller capacity talk alot of shit god that pisses me off haha! as for the thread topic i think the ford f6 is preferable for what you need.
  17. with these thing hard to say i would be getting the cooling system pressure tested, also think about basic things like replace the thermostat, radiator cap, coolant and maybe get the radiator cleaned out professionally in case its blocked.... if non of that helps maybe its got a blown hg slowly on its way.... you would hope not thou.....
  18. what about coilovers? seeing it will be on the track. the teins aus spec come with lower spring rates for oz rougher roads. i think i read it 5kg front 7kg backs i could be wrong thou...
  19. is it loosing coolant? is it overflowing into the overflow bottle?
  20. how you go there? strange your alarm is playing up now maybe a short due to getting wet?.. some alarms you get a key to turn it off/ bypass it...
  21. mite just need to get a wheel balance ..... does it shake through the steering wheel?
  22. it might be one of the sensors for the air con. mine had same issue when i got it. was the sensor which sits behind a small grill under the dash cluster which was unplugged...
  23. hope it aint to busted up..... car theft is getting all to common.... cops dont really do their best to follow these thefts up....my old commo got stolen and some parts were handed in to the cop station. i picked them up after like 12 days and asked where the parts were found. went for a drive there and my car was around the corner and they hadnt even patrolled the area and noticed it. not to mention once i reported i had found my vehicle they gave me the third degree as if i set it up!

  25. hard to say if its just surface rust or eating away at the tower... saying that i have seen alot worse get a panel beater to check it and repair as needed.. does the bottom of your car show alot of surface rust?
