i agree when my bro was car shopping we drove everywhere looking at mid 90's soarers which looked good in the pictures, to get there and they had all the signs of wear soarers are known for, cracked door trims sagging doors climate control not working, leather all f***d.....test drove a few and they are heavy barges! id stay away from them haha, he ended up spending abit more and getting a jzx100 chaser.

bad synchros?.... i had this issue in my old corolla would pop out of 2nd gear if i didnt hold it. gearing down was interesting.... nearly break my hand of i i didnt keep the revs up haha... i didnt get it repaired but if yours is doing it in all those gears you should get it recoed...

either a sss pulsar or 4age powered corolla as ppl been saying.... or even a toyota cressida grandpa mobile haha...... at least its a rwd and comfortable.

i have heard of this happening, its some cogs in the aircon vents system not sure how to remedy it thou but it does happen lol....

if r34's are ugly to you how can u even consider it.... if looks dont worry you different story.... id go r34 make the power you want easier i would imagine but i dont have the experince of building mine to that spec.

how about a bmw 318i manual.... import wise a non turbo toyota aristo gets my vote... otherwise like ppl have been suggesting magnas camry's all in price bracket and newer.....but they are BORING rides.

thats strange that nissan dont know maybe as its a import they dont want to touch it... as you can see in the links its a matter of what you want done to not all those things listed will need doing.... id take it down to a competant mechanic you can trust which may mean you have to hold off till you go to the city. like alot of imports your car probably has already had it timing belt changed its probably just been wound back! unless you have service records.

id go to a mechanic which knows whats required. but timing belt kit and water pump are main items... flush out all fluids and replenish etc.

stageas dont have that much rear leg room considering how long they look. saying that yeh there good cars... other similar wagons i would consider are the mitsubishi legnum or toyota caldina gtt....... or even and r34 sedan but rear leg room is shit. my bro has a jzx1000 toyota chaser and that hauls ass and has more space!

mid between high and low on dipstick isnt that much oil just top it up.... id get the correct oil filter thou.

my bro got one recently 1996 turbo, auto model, all i can say is its a good car comparing it to a skyline like a r33 of the same year its alot better, 4 airbags, xennon lights, more leg room in rear. make more power stock 206 kw, more torque than a r34! comparing it to my r34 sedan its only a matter of personal preference as feature wise its got more, but the auto would be better if it was tip tronic. feels abit heavier than a skyline thou but for daily driving who cares.

toyota aristo.....not sure about its fuel economy thou haha maybe a non turbo 6cyl one.

pod shouldnt cause issues like that, afm or its plug is my guess... my r34 flutters, hear it through the pod but thats with the plumbed back stock bov.

Your calmer than some, your doing the right thing thou... if someone damaged my property then came back and wrote that on my car and throw nails on my driveway i would F*** the law go visit him(regret it later hehe). Hopefully its settled and you get some satisfaction and paymnt for damages, and he doesnt come back to haunt u later.... some ppl can be phycho and hold a grudge.......which in this case sounds like he is the type.

you can actually get these for the tip tronic auto.....not made anymore thou and abit rare. seen a r34 sedan in the for sale section with the nismo auto cluster!

i wreckon u should rent ur car out for the 3 months make some money haha jk honestly id just dc the battery and leave low fuel in it, mayb when u get back get a new jerry can of fuel put it in before u start it... also removing fuse for ignition or something mayb an option....car covers are ok if its out in the elements as long as its water proof...

im another r34 owner with buggerd stock gauge, works when it wants to its all to common fail ( in most skylines) i just purchased a aftermarket mechanical boost guage reads in psi much better.

drag mode aint that good, pretty boring needs to be more fancy i recall an old need for speed game had a descent drag race mode. the rewind button is great when u dont get the drift right during a race and have a crash

1.color good choice. 2. no gtr mock kits. 3.jap rims e.g work, volk etc how about mod wise.... at least coilovers to lower it and exhaust mods,boost controller etc!

there is also a button as mentioned above you have to press to engage the steering wheel controls. its on the plstic trim right near the gear lever

there this stuff u can get cant remember the name of it.. its like a rust converter should clean it up good if its surface rust.... then some fish oil or rust proof paint to keep it from rusting again....
