i've had randoms spit on my car before... HEY THATS GREAT! One was rather thick, they must have drank some coke before hand
  4. Interesting to see theres pink bits inside the engine bay
  5. Ill buy that 3037proS off you, if you are considering updating to the T04R
  6. When i replaced the turbo from my '98 Series 2 R33, i took the compressor housing off and literally BENT the compressor fins. They’re hard, durable fins that bend back into place…were not talking about a great deal of movement, but enough to realize it isn’t steel. Then took it to Kyp at ATP for a gander, and he assured me it was nylon, and then HE bent the fin in front of me for sh|ts and giggles Its not hear say internet forum myth I know, from my own eyes, proven fact
  7. Think about what you said, for one second Nylon + Extremly hot exhaust gases = Take a guess Yes
  8. Series 1 turbos have steel compressor blades Series 2 and R34 turbos have a nylon impeller Regardless of this, theyre all still equiped with a ceramic exhaust wheel which are the turbos' weakest point
  9. This isn’t on an R33 But I believe they’re all pretty universal kits as they apply the same principle no matter what engine Have a look here too: http://www.greenline.jp/catalogue/btlist2....0System%20Parts
  10. In case some people had issues reading the post... ---- Hey guys, I’ve done a search and came up empty on earthing kits for R33s. I’ve see that they say you can get response and power from your car, I know its only a small bit, but does any one have a picture of one of these kit on an R33? I would love to see how its connected up. I know HKS make one and so do a few other companies, but I can’t find one for the R33. So does any one know of where I can get one or a photo of one so I could make it? Thank guys Scott ---- I say to spend your money on proven power upgrades.
  11. Why not just go the single cam head? No matching required No fuss One cam Proven application *shrugs*
  12. I live by the rule: Dont replace/repair...UPGRADE! Use this as a reason to get an aftermarket manifold

  14. Sorry to throw a spanner in the works, but with such a comparably small turbo, i find it odd that you are getting full boost as such a late rev range..correct me if im wrong. Do you have an aftermarket ECU? Considered maybe getting someone to have a look at the tune to get you a better boost response? Tuning plays a big roll in boost response, more so over spending $$$ on manifolds. I say this, as i've had two different ‘types’ of tunes on the same engine set up. One tuner, was lazy and didnt really play around with ignitions, managed to get my t3/t4 to just SLAP KICK in at 4000rpm On a different workshop with more experience, he managed to give a VERY linear and stable boost increase that brought boost response down as low as 2700rpm with full boost at just a smidge over 3000rpm Tune has a big play Something to think about
  15. Congratulations Welcome to the Married Club Its all downhill from here on ONLY JOKING
  16. Forwarding this information from a friend. Understandably, the wheel offset wont suit skylines, but were just letting the word out if anyone hears/sees anything ----- Hey guys... I had my nice new wheels stolen from my 'secure' underground carpark last night. Probably through and inside job. The wheels are very rare and unusual. They only fit WRX's and Liberty/Legacy and they are also fitted with Yokohama DNA GP tires which are only sold in Japan. It is also quite likely that these are the only set of these particular rims in the country as I had them specially imported from Japan. If anyone has seen a rex or liberty fitted with these rims please let me know when and where as soon as possible. This is a picture of the rims:

  18. hate to think what a water soaked pod would do once u hit highboost.... hope your piston rods are happy trying to compress that water
  19. As the water temp question has been answered, ill add my thoughts on oil temps as i have an aftermarket oil temp gauge My oil temps stay between 80-90degress on daily/normal driving... Quickly gets to 102 on hard driving, mainly on high speed on/off boost, mountain runs. I found that it didnt move much above 102 during this prolong hard driving (45+mins) Respectively, the water temps were stable at around 90-100degrees True, my AUX (aircon fan) switches on above 92degrees and quickly drops the water temps to nominal temps
  20. I recently bought a KAAZ 2way mechanical LSD...i dunno how i lived without it Iv also driven cars with minispools, and i think some peoples experiences and complaints about "turn circles" and "parallel parking" is over zealos. I had no issues and wonder what peoples complaints are sometimes. If you want friendly driveability, get yourself a daily...personally i love a raw feeling car Sure, you lose some sort of "daily drivability" and your rear tyres get scrubbed out but thats the price we pay when it comes to modifying our cars. Considering you're getting a mini spool in the first place, i gather you'er not one to really care about tyre wear on the rears. Buy it, youll LOVE it and youll wonder how you did without it
  21. The Fujitsubo Legalis Super R apparently read 91db http://www.fujitsubo.co.jp/mc-prod/ Should tell you all that you need to know (youll need to get it translated obviously) http://www.rmsmotorparts.com.au/products.jsp?p=pr RMS also have decent prices on them brand new (they dont have the LegaliseR for the S15 unfortunantly, not that i see there...but im sure they can get it in if Fujisubo make them)
