  1. I can get it balanced but the guy doesn't have the bearings. Has a tiny bit of in/out movement but I not sure if its from the bearings. The bearings actually look ok but I don't really know how to tell if there 100% good
  2. Hi mates I want to get some bearings for my turbo. The size I need is 26x10x8. Does anyone know where I can get them? My local bearing shop only had one the said was rated to 12000 rpm but when I googled it it was actually 36000 rpm in oil. What speed do they need to be good for? When you get shaft play is it from the bearings?

  4. what could i use on a rb20 thatl give me most power with full boost by around 4500? could i get 450rwhp with full boost by 4500? is there a rule i can use to covert your rb25 spoolage to rb20? extra 1000 rpm maybe?
  5. yea i think they standard bore rb30 nissan ones. at first i thought they were 20 thou over rebuild ones coz of the "05" and "20" in the part number
  6. hi mates i need to know if theres a trick to tightening the bolts on the turbo to manifold flange on a china highmount. theres one i can do
  7. i measured the top of the pistons with a metal ruler. think they closer to 86mm. what size shud the actual bore be as that prob easier to measure? the thing that got me thinking it was oversize was that all the pistons have "05" stamped on them. was thinking that was for 20 thou oversize
  8. i just pulled apart my next rb30. has pistons with 67s20 on the top. can anyone confirm if there genuine nissan rebuild ones? the part number on the pistons is the last numbers of the nissan rings but cant find part number as pistons hopefully they are nissan ones. rebuilt between 100000 and 205000km somewhere
  9. hi guys i just opened a rb30 i got. it has 67S20 on the top of the pistons. i want to identify what brand they are if there genuine nissan parts. do the nissan pistons have any specific markings on them? when i google the number it comes up as the last part of the number for rings not pistons so i dunno. the rings part numbers on google is like xxxxxxx-67S20 hope someone can help
  10. hi mates im putting a turbo back together. when installing the oil seals do i need to have the gap facing a certain way? like pointing to top or anything? also the cover that catches the blowby on the rear between rear wheel and housing. it has 2 holes (one on opposite sides) do them holes need to face any particular direction? thanks mates

  13. looking to buy some stuff. im located northside brisbane but will travel if i have to. i want a rb25det head or just rb25det valve springs. a rb25 loom and a rb30 motor with the oil and water holes in block. please let me know price and details and location of stuff please

  16. on the block connection, is it a banjo or does it come off heater hose or something else? been looking on google for about 4 hours to find the original setup mine been taken off coz had a oil only turbo on it at some stage now gotta put water back on.
  17. hi mates i got a car recently and noticed it has no water lines on the turbo so i wanna put some on it. i think it had a oil only turbo at some stage. the water hole on the block it there with the banjo eye thing in it with the metal line crimped to block it but what i need help with is the other line that is usually behind the motor (does it come from plenum?) is the one on the block the feed or return and what can i do for the other line? i cant see anything blocked off to reuse so need help. thanks mates

  19. good job guys. my $80 motor didnt turn out too good. had a blown headgasket the guy didnt tell me about and is already 1mm oversize if anyone has a motor around brisbane let me know and il buy it off ya. rb30
  20. hi guys tell me some stories about the poorest rb30 twin cam conversions youve done or mates have done. like high kms non rebuilt motors and non rebuilt heads and stuff. what power ya made and for how long? im doin one i think. got rb25 na head for $50 but will need valve springs and getting rb30 motor for $80. last one was ment to be a slapper but got sidetracked and rebuilt motor and head. hopefully stay poor this time
