  1. Hey guys, Im looking for some feedback. Is the Stock Adjustable R32 GTR front strut brace any good? (yes.. I did search) I like the adjustable factor and I like the way the strut bar splits into two to attatch to both sides of th strut tower, It looks very stirdy. But is it really? Does the adjustability make a diffrence? Im not a fan of the flimsy looking strut bars that attatch to the bace of each strut tower. I dont see many poeple using it, is this because people assume their dodgey because its an OEM part? Feedback would be muchly appreciated! Cheers in advance, Cris
  2. Cheers mate PM replyed.. Still looking for em guys!
  3. LOVE the gull wing Merc..
  4. ..up she goes..
  5. Hey mate, Found out cost of shipping for front strut?
  6. YES! I love the mount of 4 doors comming through! But that makes mine less unique As for cheapest lowering.. all you need is a set of lower springs (shockies are advised too, unless you want your car to handle like oil tanker) try Lovelle or KYB or King springs.. all fairly cheap springs and shokie set ups
  7. The awesomeness in an NA car is high revs, very light weight and awesome handling
  8. The rasp everyone is complaining about? This is Nissan's answere to help muffle it.. It should open under WOT
  9. Did we not just have a thread on this? Did we not reach a decision in the last thread? Are the 2 34's not the same? Quick rundown. 34 is better than 33. NA Supra is too Heavy to be a solid NA (In my opinion) Autech S15 is fat too expensive and the last thing you want to do at a young age is bury urself in debit Buy an NA S13, 1.8L MX5, Type R instead.
  10. Timing is adjusted from the engine bay..
  11. As said before, People freakout about shaft play.. You have to bear in mind that there will also be oil running through the turbo that will pick up some of the shaft play.
  12. If you dont have a hand controller you can just as easily leave it where the stock ECU resides, passanger footwell kicker pannel. How easy is it to swap over? Just undo one screw. Now Im going to hijack, With such simple mods why not just use a Apexi SAFC? PFC's to me seem like overkill for such simple mods. You only need to play around with the Air fuel ratio and perhaps the timing. Why not just use an SAFC that can be had for $200?
  13. For that price you may aswell buy new coilovers all together!
  14. What tyre sie did you have on the 32's when you weighed it?.. Im curious about the weight too..
  15. Is your HICAS light on? Cheak you power steering fluid level. Bleed the HICAS system and cheak for bubles. Slap in a HICAS lock bar Cheak all mounting points of the coilover.. Cheak to see everything is screwed in nice nd tight - did you double cheak after installing the coilovers? thats my 2c of your options.
  16. Rears will be fine with a 9inch no flare needed.. Im not 100% about the front.. Why not slap on a set of 33 GTR's? Cheap to buy, 9" rim light, 17. That way yu can sped the difrence on something else? If its only a track rim you dont need something very flashy..
  17. I have no time for heavy rims.. the rims you want arn't my cup of tea but i do see the appeal.. I think they look awesome for the look your going for.. I havent seen them before so its good that they arn't common Id say if you like them that much.. go for it.. but you will see a decrease in performance.. theres a slight diff between 25kg and 8. 25kg + Tyres x 4rims =
  18. Ghetto boro stripped and caged S13 in mat Black.. mmm... sex or But in mustard
  19. Ill be using 32 GTRS as my track wheel.. Thanks for the msg anyways mate much appreciated.. Keep em comming guys!
  20. Without a dout it is not stock.. Those connectors are not used as stock item as far as I know.. I have seen many of these used in Head unit and alarm installations from japan. They dont do the "strip te wire, wrap it around another stripped wire and wrap it in electrical tape" that many dodgy backyard jobs here in aust. do. +1 for alarm.. see the metal brass coloured thing.. Im going with that the "siren" bit of the alarm. Explains why there it doesnt go anywhere else.. If it ws hiden under the factory air box makes it alot more difficult for a theif to locate it due to its unusual location plus they need to remove the stock airbox to get to it and remove it. I have never stolen a car.. but I am asuming that you need to disable the alarm somehow.. what better way than just cut the siren off?
  21. As a car reveiwer he is awesome dont get me wrong.. very enertaining.. Cant drive to save his life.. but very funny man.. his books are even better!
