  3. Its a complete loss of licence.. for at least 3 months.. In NSW anyways.. Wouldn't the price of NA skylines go up?

Yip! I will be!.. Im in the process of selling my kidney to fund the ticket.. but its ok!.. it will be worth it!.. Anyone have pics/vids from Tiesto's show?
  5. Completely off topic.. But Hal's Moving Castle is an Awesome movie!
  6. Yes.. You will loose ABS in the fuse box in the engine bay.. on the left as you open up the bonnet.. the fise said something like ANTI/4WD/PTC.. or of the sorts.. its the first green fuse in the row of small fuses towards the center of the thengine bay.. This way you wont loose abs..
  7. Hey mate.. Had a look at the Defi HUD.. What is needed?.. I assume that you need some sort of Defi control unit?.. Do you need the specific gauges for it to be shown in the HUD? What else is needed?
  8. Eugene!.. hahahaha.. its not a bad price.. definately wont get 200NA kw for $1700.. Tempted?
  9. YAY.. Its good to see that NA's are gaining a certain mount of respect in the shadow of their turbo cousins.. I have a feeling we are still yet to see big things out of the ye ol' DE But just one last question.. I just got an NA 33 and I want ti to go psssshhhhhht.. how do I do this?
  10. I would have Nomu-kens babies!.. he is awesome!
  11. Ceffies are sooooooooooooooooo hot! I Despirately want a boro spec, caged and stripped ceffie for my next car! Congrats on the new car and welcome to SAU
  12. IMO.. nothing is sexier than function over form.. mmm.. function..
  13. This is true.. As long as rolling diameter is the same it is ok. But this being said.. Im with DJr81.. My GTS4 under steers quite badly.. so want as much grip on the front as possible.. and the last thing you want it to loose grip in the front wheels when comming out of corners flat chat or launching.. because if you begin to spin the front wheels at an un even rate from the rear because you dont have as much grip on the front tryes as on the back.. then you are in trouble... And its not entirely true about the GTR being RWD most of thime.. 5% front torque is constantly being sent to the front wheels in the R34's.. So short answere.. got even all way round..
  14. +1 vote for removal of spoiler.. then +1 vote for phatest r34
  15. Coilovers are the shockie/damper and spring together as one unit.. so no.. its not stock.. its a tien item made to work with the tien damper
  16. I do not care what anyone sais.. EDUCATION IS THE KEY!!!! In year 12 a did a launch of NRMA's new "virtual Learners car" something or other.. Its basically driving a virtual VW then you drive the real thing on the road. Some big wig of NRMA was there for the press confrence.. During it.. He opened himself to questions.. I asked.. "why not mate defensive driver training compulsary for all L drivers before they get their P's?" Simple enough.. you teach people to drive safe.. people will begin to drive safe.. His responce was the simgle most idiotic thing I have ever heard in my entire life.. "because they will become over confident and engauge in even more risk taking behaviour" WTF!?!.. I know after I did my training with HART (Honda Australia Roadcraft Training) when i just got my reds.. I realised how much of distance you need to leave when following at certain speeds.. Never since have I tailgated and always allowed ~50m when driving at 60km/h and more at higher speeds.. Its absolutely apauling to see the amount of people that follow at unsafe distances.. Alot of the things that were taught are priceless for people who know nothing about cars or about driving! I have a better idea.. WHY DONT WE STOP BITCHING ABOUT WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE AND START DOING SOMETHING ABOUT IT!! It will be even more meaningful if it comes from the modified car community!!! Who here can set up a simple website?.. We could start a petition! A simple Name.. Age.. Drivers licence/something to identify you.. We could take it to the NSW court.. Show them that this is what action we want taken! This is how these things start!.. If I could somehow help keep my fellow P platers alive.. then I am sure as hell going to do everything I can to do that!.. I want my kids to be awesome drivers and to see them alive AFTER they get their P's.. So if somone has the resources/know how about how to start a website or some form of media that can be easily sent around to other forums/workplaces/uni/friends etc. then please PM me.. or say something.. because we need to stop our friends/kids/brothers/sisters from dieing because they are not being given a chance to be taught how to become a good driver!
  17. No matter what the car is used for.. ABS is your friend!.. The only logical reason i would see for taking the thing out is weight.. even then.. the extra 15kg your going to loose.. you will loose ten fold worse when you lock up and slide off the track/race line.. Would you remove the seatbelts for weight?.. Leave it in.. ESPECIALLY if you drive it on the road.. I would NEVER go back to a non ABS car every again.. not that in the future cars wont come with ABS as standard..
  18. +1 for contacting Nissan.. Rb20e's are quite rare, even here in Australia.. so information is quite scarce It's not the greatest engine in the worls to modify so not many people bother modifying it.. BTW.. is that the 33 with the 20e?.. cos that is one FAT na!
  19. lol.. you didnt look hard enough did you? http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Rb...ng-t170221.html Read the whole thread.. I am THAT proud of that thread.. its come in handy many a time!.. Feels like I made a solid contribution to the site..
  20. LOL.. why do we do this to ourselfs!?!
  21. Thanks for the imput guys!.. Its starting to put things into perspective.. Im doing a Bachelor of exercise science with a double degree in social science/psychology.. It just seems like its so far away from what id like to do.. Its hard forcing myself to study difficult things on a subject im not very interested in.. Perhaps I could ern some money and start my own shop down the line? Maby just do holiday work at a workshop?.. Thanks again guys
  22. Why not keep stock boost gauge? If you dont do trackdays.. or go requently for a spirited drive.. then a stock one will do fine.. Gauges are used because when you modify an engine it no longer works so you constantly cheak what the engine is doing.. If you dont have a heavily modified engine and dont push the engine for long periods of time.. stock gauges do fine.. Un-necessary gauges is another wanker thing to have..
  23. GTT or GTR wheels?.. If GTR.. PM me and I call shotgun now!
  24. What about corners of the guage cluster? Just above the Air Conditioning unit?.. Like this: I think that the A Pillar would give me the Mc Shits.. especially during cornering.. and if its at night the last thing you want is a bright light in your eyes as well And if you want an idea for another gauge.. do you do track days of give your car a good pumping? get an oil temp one.. or got a big sterio? Volt meter?
  25. Gunmetal without a doubt! WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYY too many poeple have them in gold.. and far too bling bling.. and just out of curiosity.. What point did you jack the car up from?
