  1. I can only assume that the ASR and High energy sumps are made by the same peeps. I have a high energy and my bud has the ASR. absolutely identical.
  2. Because i am a lurker. Just go see dan and get the oil cooler radiator Danski. I thing they are about 100 bucks or close to. I use them and so do quite a few of my track buds. zero probs.
  3. got20/30 of them here in ipswich but I'm damned if I'm gonna frig around with them. Ya wantem come getem.
  4. X 2. How are they proposing you set the valve lash without shims?
  5. Well Surprise! Surpise!
  6. Cheers harry. I might go with a slightly stiffer spring.
  7. Whats the surface like at the creek. Is it smooth or a goat track like QR?
  8. mine is a D1 that i purchased from jjr about 2 years back. It didnt stuff hicas or the power steering or anything else for that matter. The horn still works and there is no freeplay whatsoever. it moved the wheel about 50/60 mil closer to me.
  9. Cant wait for the track to be finished. It was already my favorite place. Can only get better from here.
  10. It works out well for me. My wheel has a bit of dish too. I have longish legs so I need the seat back a bit to give my knees some clearance. The quick disconnect has the advantage of bringing the wheel closer to me when my legs are comfy.
  11. Its the JJR version that I have been using too Phunk and its been sweet as. No play and easy to use.
  12. What issues did you have with the detent ball number Phunk? I've been using one for a couple of years and its been fool proof.
  13. I lol'd. Been there done that.
  14. Indeed! twould be a very foolish thing to even contemplate. but, as they say in the classics....There aint no fool like an old fool.

    Stolen

Pull ya f**kin head in ya rude flamin mongrel.
  16. I heard he drowned in a beer keg.
  17. It aint a problem at all to me. Its a problem for the poor bugga on his busa gettin his arse handed to him on a hillbilly run.
  18. think about it. I add 93 kilo to the weight of the car. Less than 10 percent. The copper adds a minimum of 90 kg. What percentage do you think that is? Call the car 1400 kg for the excercise. Its contact patch v weight still far outdoes that of the bike. And i dont have to climb all over the bike to get it to change direction in a hurry. I simply move the wheel and sit there solid as a rock in a full bucket seat.
  19. Give me your keys.
  20. I fear your egg nog.
  21. hyabusa weighs 220 kg dry. add fluids and a rider and they will see 300 plus kg's easily. Add all the shit a copper has to carry and they will more than top out 350 kg. Now STFU.
  22. Wasting my time. Been there done it. Let me know when you have. And fwiw, The bike tyre due to the neccesity of its shape has far less road contact patch than what you claim.
  23. I dont deal in hypo's. Here's a small mathematical equation for you. A well shod bike has about a 50 mil contact patch with the road both front and rear. thats about 100 mil total. A well shod car. (will use mine for the sake of the excercise) has 1 metre and 60 mil of contact area on the road. A Busa weighs in around 350 kg, my car weighs in around 1300 kg. Which do you think will stick better? As for their giddyupgo in a straight line. Blistering, but certainly not twice as quick as the car. If memory serves me they do a low 10 second 1/4 mile. I do a low 11. On anything but a straight road I will eat his lunch. (and have done)
