  1. As per title. Kelford drop ins. Little use. Made 500kw with a basic port on rb26. $550 and buyer pays postage. Contact via pm, located in central queensland price not neg.
  2. Climate your running it in, how hard you intend on treating it, nitrous, compression ratio target, fuel type. Its ring gap advice for an engine. You need to be pretty specific.
  3. Ive had performance springs fail once in an engine. SBF at 9300rpm. Thats about it. I personally run them in my tractor with 40psi and havnt had a drama. Its like every other item on the market. If wrongly installed or abused, failure is imminent
  4. The AC clutch will disengage after generally around 5500rpm as damage to the pump can occur, your issue is an alignment one. I run the ati 1000hp on a 540wkw car with no issue, from day dot.
  5. As per topic, chasing standard steel water lines for a standard turbo r33 gtst
  6. You asked, i spoke. Take it how you want to. Plenty of people will kick up and say " oohh, i have 750hp and have had for years" but how many actual thrashings do they get? If you build a car like these things, you are going to want to thrash the snot out of it and do it with peace of mind. Well m i do anyway.
  7. Reliable and 750+ requires cash and a reasonable amount of it. If you want the ultimate in reliability then dry sump it, do all the cooling system mods with an electric water pump set up with a variable speed controller and post cooling. Once you see the cost of that come back and talk engine componentry, cylinder head builds and drivetrain components
  8. Its inexpensive to have a good exhaust made. I had a 5" dump to a 4.5" system with 2 mufflers for less than 1k. At this size it is 2db under the noise limit.
  9. Dont just press the guides in. Heat the head and freeze the guides. Have repaired a head with galling from the previous shop installing the guides like a neanderthal
  10. What are you guys using? Im nearing completion of a 500 cube injected hemi turbo combo and had the question asked.
  11. Ok guys and gals. Im looking to go up in size on my 6466. I have the .86 and im looking for a 1.0 or 1.06 rear t4 twinscroll housing. For those interested. The 86 rear is bullshitgood for a 26. Im looking for circa 580kwatw though. So, fire away!
  12. Jeesuschrist! Suddenly me buying 2 at 2300 each wasnt such a bad thing!
  13. The latest vipecs are a great bit of kit. Easy to tune, loads enough functions for your requirements and great support. But, to be honest, you can have an m800 full tilt set up and it can run like a corolla from the 70s if you dont have the right people behind the keyboard. I suggest you start looking for a great tuning yoda and then, with his guidance, go from there
  14. Nah, been os but, phone has lived on the charger in the office! You called? Ill be back on monday.
  15. Cheap mafolds, and you get the bonus of having 2 flanges.......
  16. Now i see cooler and pipework, efr goodness and weldporn, im like
  17. 9 gearbox rebuilds, a small claims case and a box ya just cant trust. A bit like marrying a stripper really
  18. I have an under car surge, 2 044s at near on full snot and it returns from the surge through the factory return. This set up at 13.8v should support over 1000hp on race gas qnd come bloody close on corn juice. It is fed from the stock location pump. It works because 1000's of people before us have developed systems and they're trial and error is well documented. Don't need to reinvent the wheel.
  19. Rightio, coming from a mainline owner, the 4wd roller we have IS the heartbreaker. Why? Because we don't park air temp sensors where they shouldn't be, we REGULARLY have the dyno and retardation units checked and calibrated and we don't give a single fcuk, weather its flying or not, about a final hp figure on a dyno. Its a tuning tool, not a sales pitch like so many shops will make it. MPH and weight don't lie, ever. If you want to make 600whp from your cammed, unported, stock headered ve, you came to the wrong place. This is as far as this needs to go, so mr OP, what mph and weight did this car run, and if you want to be technical, give us track temp, elevation and humidity.
  20. Breaking gears, poor assembly, forks not machined correctly, extremely poor after sales service.
