  1. I like the wing on my GTT, that or a nice understated and low GT wing. However, do what ever you like, it's all personal choice and opinion. The only time where I might suggest someone put a wing back on or put a drag back on has been said many times before... R33. Cheers.
  2. Both nice choices. I don't find too many people around who know and love Clutch. The best thing about Disturbed is when my French girlfriend sings Down with the Sickness (Richard Cheese style) with the full French accent and word/grammatical errors. So cute.
  3. It's fun to dream! <3 Aston Martin's!
  4. Very true. LOL.. nice hierarchy Unfortunately, d1ckhead driving and 'racing' fatalities aren't limited to P Platers. I'm with whoever said proper driving instruction beyond learning to drive the car to get your L/P's is what's required. Then I guess you get the hero's on their P's and even beyond who reckon they've done advanced driver training and can now handle driving like a maniac on the road. I don't disagree with limiting power on your P's but it's not a real solution. Keep racing to the track =/
  5. RADAR LOVE FTW!!! Love driving to old rock, Led Zep, Van Morrison, Pink Floyd, Janis, 'Tour of Duty' soundtracks, etc Some good shit there Wu Tang - most, RZA, Inspectah Deck, GZA, no point naming them all Fat Joe & Big Pun, Terror Squad Jedi Mind Tricks, AOTP, Apathy, RA The Rugged Man Immortal Technique Old School Hip Hop - Tim Dog, Big Daddy Kane, EPMD, Juice Crew - Master Ace, Kool G Rap & Marley Marl, NWA, Mantronix, Ghetto Boys, Fat Boys, etc etc etc Also love Psy Trance for long trips, Simon Posford stuff, Infected Mushroom, Raja Ram, Hallucinogen, etc. Can't go wrong with Daft Punk really loud too
  6. Thanks gents.
  7. 2 noob questions: Where are boosted performance located? Where can I get RIPS products? Cheers!
  8. Current: R34 GTT (modded as much as I am willing to stress the stock internals) Next: Jaguar XF (maybe diesel) or Range Rover Sport Spacious, schmick interior, easy/nice/lazy to drive tow cars. Keep the GTT as a track car until I can afford my next next car(New GTR or M3 or equivalent... maybe R34 GTR if I am lacking funds).
  9. Looks like where Jamezilla works? Edit: Or maybe it's this place http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Su...d-t178833.html# 9th post. Knew I'd seen that place before.
  10. /interested
  11. Must be good stuff too, I wish he'd share.
  12. Oh damn... my mistake. For a car that's been around for 10 years, they sure make it hard to find certain stuff compared with the other models. I bet those with V35's really struggle.
  13. Thuy ended up finding some second hand bride rails. I am not sure of the rail model, but they are a perfect fit. I can probably put some pics up for the seats installed, might be able to get some rail pics too if I have the time You can buy R34 GTT rails for bride seats from Autobahn and other places. J-imports get them too, both Bride and generic from Japan but being in SA you might need to pay for double handling - extra postage cost, which may negate any savings. I reckon they were about 1700 including all rails and shipping. Basically worked out to be rails for free. Can't remember exact amounts as it's all been payed for with other parts and in cash.
  14. Thought this might be helpful to you if you haven't already read it http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Fr...ee-t234529.html
  15. I am about 1 month away from ordering one of these but for R34. Can't wait. White panda FTMFW!
  16. If you're going to paint it, wouldn't you just get a fibreglass one and save yourself $200-300. Pay for the paint job by saving on the bonnet.
  17. Bride Euro II's. Bride rails. Love em. Bought it all from the guy in my sig.
  18. There is a difference of about 5dB between the 409 and the Silent models. The 409 being slightly louder, obviously I am very happy with my Silent Hi Power system. I am running HKS from the turbo al the way back. It has a fantastic note and is not too loud, but loud enough to give you a grin
  19. Oh, and my tuner has basically said this will run hard all day everyday safely. He was very confident that I could give it a hiding, track or whatever and have no problems for a long time. I will add an oil cooler before I really thrash it out on a track but always nice to bounce off the limiter with some confidence
  20. It's not too bad putting power to the road but I need new tyres - sumitomo's are just too soft and haven't stood up too well to the extra power. Once I get the rest of the handling work done it will stick to the road like glue. Joeyjoejoe's R33 has the same mods as mine, with all the handling work done and it is very impressive how it puts the power down. My R34 is fine the way it is currently, but it can always be better There was no need to replace the fuel rail... I will do it when I replace the plenum but it isn't necessary until then. Cheers.
  21. Few months so far with no related problems, except the latency on the Sard's is wrong, so it's a little flamey and fuel inefficient right now. I am running Zeal Function coil overs and new slotted brake rotors as well. I am also soon to get new castors, bushes, camber kit, to fix how she sits on the road and a HICAS lock. Keep in mind with my setup the low boost setting is 244kW (your target power) which is just perfect for daily driving and what it is set to most of the time
  22. Nice buy mate. It's basically the same for all RB25 turbo's, although the NEO motor is a little newer and may stand up to a bit more power... may also provide a little bit more power. There are plenty of posts on here that answer your question but because I have 10 mins free at work and I'm bored here goes. I am running 273kW @ 18psi - high boost setting and peak efficiency for my motor and turbo combination. This is what got me there. Following mods: HKS 2835 Pro S Kit Sard 800cc injectors Hpi FMIC HKS POD Filter Tomei 256 Poncams Greddy exhaust cam gear Z32 AFM Bosch 044 fuel pump Apexi Power FC Greddy Profec II Spec B 3" HKS Silent HiPower exhaust High flow cat - soon to be decat pipe Exedy Clutch CAI A good tuner There are plenty of examples on the site of people running this sort of power and more @ wheels safely with just bolt ons mentioned above. 300kW is generally accepted as starting to push your luck and where internal work is recommended. Some people will say less and some people will say more though. No idea who you should believe. I will let you know when my NEO pops
  23. Don't mean to pick but R34 GTR seats DID NOT fit in my R34 GTT. The rails would have required a decent amount of modification to fit and so I went with the Bride rails and seats. I found that with my model of bride seats/rails I lost head room. Just something to check if you end up splurging on some.
  24. I am 6'1 and have no trouble in my R34 GTT although with stock seats I had the seat all the way back (long legs or something). Once I put my Bride seats in the fit was more snug but I no longer had to slide the seat all the way back... basically, less head room but more leg room. Obviously I am not tall in comparison to this bloke though. Joeyjoejoejuniorwhateverthehell is over 6'5 and fits in an R33 GTS-T... even more so now he has R33 GTR seats in there which sit lower than the stock seats and hence give more headroom. The difference in driver cockpit between R33 and R34 is pretty small (I have owned both models and cranked the seat all the way back in both to fit comfortably).
