  1. I have a feeling there might be a few missing, given the current economic climate. They may see it as a marketing op though, who knows? I'll definitely check the motorshow out this year, it's just down the road from my work and I hardly ever miss it. Probably next weekend though.
  2. Coulda been me, happen to notice red Bride seats?
  3. I am going to the airshow!

    Hey Everyone

Arrrrgh, it be a white whale.
  5. Confirmed! My first time being spotted I believe. Edit: Maybe second time
  6. Sounds like my car except it isn't an R and in my area too! I am sure mines not the only white R34 with black wheels and a lumpy idle in the area

    Hey Everyone

I call all my girl friends mate!
  8. White GT3 on Orrong Road Caulfield at about 10pm last night. Really gave it a squirt too, although he was going in the opposite direction he was probably trying to stick it up the Skyline owner Oh and the same ol' DB9 (AMDB9 or something for plates) came out of the Blue Planet car wash near my work as per normal... but I just love that sound, so worth a mention!

    Hey Everyone

Welcome mate! Hope to see you about some of the events.
  10. Mine's in a private garage now anyway, luckily. I don't think I've ever had my car inspected by an insurer, crazy indeed! Especially with the long list of mods and relatively high insured value.
  11. haha Roy, good idea! Swap me for a set of 17in Gram Light 57 Maximum's! Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeease!
  12. True and you can always offset the white with some nice black LMGT4's!
  13. This is a little strange. Shannon's insured my car in a shared underground car park (and I'm talking shared with almost 100 cars, maybe more) in Port Melbourne for 2 years. Is this a new policy?
  14. I would love a second set of these wheels for $2K. If they are still up for sale in a couple of months I'll be very interested.
  15. DVD's are writable but I do buy a bunch when I see good stuff for $10.
  16. Agreed SRT 8 is the only way to go! The tourer doesn't look too bad for a station wagon either. It's no Stag though Agreed.
  17. awesome, thanks for the update.
  18. TPG rate pretty highly on that list. I reckon I would call customer service once a year, so customer service quality is less important, although I would probably be the first to get annoyed at shit service when I am actually on the phone to them. Who knows ey? We are still living in the dark ages in this country when it comes to internet servic and they want to further damage it by implementing this travesty of compulsory filtering. What a joke.
  19. Underbelly 2 is pretty good! So far though, I think I enjoyed number 1 more as it's closer to home and a little more modern. I am also not the biggest fan of Matthew Newton as a leading character but hey, whatever. uTorrent does do uPNP natively to the best of my knowledge. There have been some issues with it though particularly with Vista.
  20. I think that's the "stacks" everyone is talking about.
  21. It'd pull my skyline to the track in style though! As far as offroad in RR sport though, there is nothing wrong with the discovery platform (which is what the sport has). On top of that I've completed some pretty hairy climbs/descents in a '96 RR, enough that I have a decent amount of confidence in an RR/LR. I will accept that the electronics in LR/RR's has always been shithouse though, and it is unfortunate that the suspension relies pretty heavily on the electronics. EDIT: sorry bout the double post, my connection farted.
  22. removed because of double post
  23. I am still using Azureus(Vuze) but yeah it's turned into a convoluted piece of shit. Is uTorrent the way forward? All TV sucks, the only way I survive is with an epic DVD collection.
  24. I used to trade goods for the uncooked seasoned nando's chickens as I knew one of the managers(early days of Nando's in Hawthorn - bout 10 years ago now), which we used to bbq every weekend. Loved that
  25. Good thread! I have been waiting for June to roll around so Telstra lets me out of this gdamn contract, and I will move to TPG I think.
