    Spiders

They reckon there's a bit of an ant population explosion which will bring out more RB's. Sorry if this was said on page 2, I read page 1 and 3 lol

    Bp Ultimate

No more 8000 at the bayside/brighton mobil. No Ultimate at the bayside or southbank BP's. No Vortex at Elsternwick. I had to borrow my mum's subaru after I limped my car to my folks house on the sniff of a damp rag =( Last time I run that far below 1/4 tank.
  8. Machine Head - Burn my Eyes ... so f'in good. Irons - Fear of the dark (live) ... slow/fast/slow/fast - awesome Depends on the mood though, one day you could get east coast hip hop, the next day metal, the next day 60's/70's, blues, jazz, psy trance, classical, whatever, i am not fussed as long as it is not MAINSTREAM so no radio for me Austrian Death Machine worth a listen? I havent had new metal in ages.
  9. That was a beautiful car mate, sorry to hear your story.
  10. I tend to agree with Kris. If they really want to get me, they can send me a notice in the mail. I don't think I would pull over for them unless I was instructed to by police.
  11. I have been looking into klee kai's and miniature huskies as an alternative but I have having trouble finding information and Australia breeders.
  12. Basti's got the skills! Looks like I am off the hook
  13. Me too Sandy ftw!
  14. MY GF just inherited a bloody good SLR. I am not sure of our availability over the weekend yet though, she just got back from France and we might be going away somewhere. Play it by ear a little closer to the weekend? Disclaimer: I have the good camera, I do NOT have the good skills lol. Happy to give it a crack though.
  15. I'll be there, although I will probably need to leave before the cruise.
  16. I think they did something similar to this in Munich, Germany, and funnily enough I think it was $5000 euros if involved, not even the instigator, so that anytime a fight would break out there was a minimum of $10000 euros in fines. They have record low street violence. Nuff said? I never actually read the law myself, but it was one of the first things my mate told me and Joeyjoejoe when we arrived, and it certainly stopped us from king hitting anyone. So even if he was making it up, it was effective at stoppping my friend and I from getting into any mischief.
  17. Check this out, bottom of page 21 and 22: http://www.asic.gov.au/asic/pdflib.nsf/Loo...n_guideline.pdf They talk of statute barred debts. It also suggests that if the debt is statute-barred, i.e. the statute legally prevents collection, and they advise you that it is payable, then they are breaking the law. The following is a less reputable source however the time they quote for statute of limitations is correct at 6 years: http://www.consumerbadcreditguide.com/stat...saustralia.html Please be aware that I am not a lawyer and any advice above should be double checked with a professional. I hope that is helpful. Cheers!
  18. He took me for a spin round the block in his Porsche about 20 years ago. There was no funny business...
  19. Good to hear mate... enjoy the Camry power while it lasts.
  20. Agree with you 100%
  21. I gotta say, without trying to be inflammatory or start a fight, I don't think it matters how well this guy knows the road, or his ability or his car, or his age or the fact that the closing of race tracks pushed him to do it, what this guy did was stupid and irresponsible. It's nice to see someone standing up for their rights, but in this case he had no rights except the right to remain silent (sorry , couldn't help myself). I think it's very very unfortunate that this all happened during a sanctioned car club meeting... like we as groups of enthusiasts don't have enough trouble with being tarred with the "hoon" brush. +1 for the inadequacy of statistics in this particular issue.
  22. I thought the same, but after reading it again, I think it's more a misunderstanding over the de-registered ABN. That probably spooked the OP into taking action. Top Chef confirmed that when he registered his company his old ABN was cancelled and a new one issued. Sounds like a reasonable explanation. +1 though for ordering parts with plenty of time to spare. If parts aren't in stock, things can take 6+ weeks to get here from Japan if on a ship. For the record, I have had good experiences dealing with Slide.
  23. You poor bastard... My poor old car Good luck Hamish, even though we've talked already.
  24. That's my understanding too WB, but it changes from state to state. Best bet is to install the standard CF bonnet and keep the super vented crazy one for track days or sell it, as mentioned before OK I am headed back south of the border, dunno how I ended up here!
