  1. Sorry, I forgot about this post. We tried lots and lots of different latency settings, both positive and minus. The best and most efficient result coming from a setting of 1.6ms and 46% injector size difference (injector size obviously not the issue here). It is still injecting fuel for too long however this setting gave the best result. This was all while on the dyno. AFR's were all healthy at this setting. I am keen to get it back onto the dyno and try 1.07ms again.
  2. /interested My 800cc Sard's are pumping fuel in for too long.
  3. +1 ^^^ I am running HKS 2835 Pro S kit with all supporting bolt on mods, plus some poncams and I would be running in excess of your desired flywheel figure based on a rough calculation with a responsive tune (responsiveness rather than high end output). I reckon it may cost you a bit more than $4000 though. I haven't bothered checking the conversion rates but in Aussie dollars the turbo kit alone won't give you too much change from $3500.
  4. It's kinda cool, I imagine or at least hope there is a mutual respect thing going on.
  5. This info is kind of useful for any one else having jacket malfunctions.
  6. IBTL... Creatd is in Campbellfield so might be closer to you. As you can see from my sig, I recommend them highly. Cheers.
  7. Haha, same as me, my car is tightly tucked into a car park all day. Nice and snug, next to a very nice WRX STI. We're car buddies although we've never actually met.
  8. Construction/development management. Are you in the area too? I have seen a few SAU people/cars around this area lately.
  9. Well this got bumped so I might as well a little bit of info that I have picked up about Sard injectors. I installed 800cc Sard injectors and they were a straight drop into my R34 GTT. No extra parts (collars) required. However, they were apparently very tough to tune for. They keep dumping excess fuel into the cylinder which results in some awesome flamage which is fine if you're into that sort of thing but not so good for fuel economy or my cat and the area around my exhaust needs pretty frequent cleaning lol I wouldn't recommend them if you're after a no fuss install/tune. Cheers.
  10. I'm a big fan of the HKS Hi Power exhausts. I have one on my GTT. They do get loud once you put some decent power figures through them but not too bad
  11. Thanks for the invite. I might bring my car down. Test out the new power output. I am gonna be best mates with the DD guys after all the training and track days I am doing in the next few months!
  12. Nothing that refutes the info my current tune is based off unfortunately. Ah well, loving the flames for the moment! My fuel efficiency sucks though >.<
  13. Yeah but your turbo doesn't look stock, we even talked about it looking highflowed or something... maybe not the best example of a 'stock' turbo running at 14-16psi
  14. I am in Southbank, normally @ Crown. I'd be down for Friday lunch or something if it happens again
  15. 10-12psi with the standard turbo, supporting mods won't save your turbo for too long if running at too high a pressure. My understanding anyway.
  16. I am feeling the love in here! Sounds to me like my 800cc injectors were a waste of money I'll buy that malpassi off you palmer! j/k
  17. Haha, nice one. This might be a dumb question but has it got a tail gate? How the hell do you get a dirt bike into the back? Lift it in?
  18. Almost positive you will require shimming. I have Tomei Poncams in my GTT and the tapping sounds like a machine gun. The factory valve clearances are definitely different to Tomei's. It was suggested to me that it wasn't causing any problems, hence why I am driving it, but I will be having mine shimmed soon anyway.
  19. Very nice car... such a temptation. Always wanted to chuck some turbos on one of these. +1 for 'For Sale' section.

  23. Are you hearing any odd noise from the engine bay in addition to the exhaust backfires?
