  1. I like it! I'd hold onto it too Congrats mate.
  2. Ashneel is a user on the site, throw him a PM. Alternatively you can get shields from a few online stores. For my money I wouldn't skimp on engine management/boost control. Check out PowerFC's, but they aren't the only option. A bit of searching on this site should uncover some options for you. For boost control you have heaps of options, such as the powerfc addon, or the greddy/blitz/etc etc. I would steer clear of basic bleed valves if only for future proofing. Don't bother with the fuel pump/injectors until you start pushing more power. Basic mods don't generally require fuel system upgrades. As soon as you start breaking through to the moderately modified car I would suggest looking into it though. +1 for coilovers and other suspension mods. No point pumping in more power only to have trouble getting it to the tarmac. Welcome mate, might see you round Crown again.
  3. I'd be in for the next one... nudge nudge
  4. 1 cb and 1 charger please. Payment will be made on 25/03/09. I'll post again, just expressing interest.
  5. Where's the fun in that?! I reckon the attention you get really depends on the area you live and the places you go, e.g. I still avoid Knox/Stud Rd like the plague. Police who are out looking for defects and know what to look for will pull anything over that looks even slightly modded (i.e. lowered, big wheels, body kits, exhaust, BOV/induction noise, etc, etc.). Regular cops don't like loud BOV's and exhaust and that's about the extent of it. Without those you should be fine, as cops that know what to look for (e.g. HWP) are few and far between. My experience with regular cops has been, license check/breatho, pop the hood and explain that the BOV is stock and I go on my merry way.
  6. I'll be there, and I'll be dragging Hamish along too, car or no car.
  7. This is GOLD, thanks for the entertainment. I am almost sorry this moron got banned.
  8. I don't expect you read the whole thing, only reason I did was because I am entertaining the idea of going up there but "Remember, this Event will be an invitation for all R34 owners nationwide to attend. So ask your mates in other states to come and billet them. We will do our best to find motels with shallow gutters and secure (enough) parking for your precious gems."
  9. It is about as clear as mud but that's how I would interpret the key statement too now that it's been pointed out to me. You don't see that too often around here Newcomer/low post count/p-plater winning arguments against seasoned car enthusiasts/keyboard warriors/moderators/whatever the case may be. I also stand corrected for my offensively bold not. Careful though bud, that statement appears to me to be able to be interpretted a number of ways. Get as much proof as you can. Welcome to SAU lol
  10. Have we got a solid price? I am 100% on this provided the cost is not huge

Jesus, what carparks are you going to Malz? The worst as far as litter I have had to endure was a half empty fanta bottle sitting on my boot in the Crown carpark, and I was not happy about that!

lol... indeed, it was getting to me too.
  14. In addition to the law stating you are not allowed to drive a 350GT, most police will be tipped off to the illegality by the word Skyline plastered across your boot which most V35's have. That may leave you with the option of scrubbing or an Infinity, but the former is expensive and the latter fairly rare (and may still have the skyline badging - I am unsure).

I was at my mates place in a pretty nice area for about half an hour. I come out to find jimmy marks all down the passenger window trim and my passenger side lock barrel destroyed. Dickheads couldn't even get it open. Cost me about $300 for the replacement window trim (or whatever the black rubber that guides the window is called) another $100 or something for the lock barrel. Not to mention the big jimmy mark under the trim where they actually got some purchase on the door itself which I will eventually fix (you can't really see it thankfully). Not a hit and run but close enough. Arseholes.
