  1. Could have been a multitude of cars mate It's usually not a primary goal but a lot of people take pride in building a jap car that can beat the euros.

  5. Dyno graph to go with post above. Sitting on about 280rwkw on a 'low boost' setting. Lovin it.
  6. Saw a very clean silver 34 GTT on King's Way this morning at about 8:45 near the freeway entrance (near Crown). Gave a big thumbs up.
  7. BBS LM's are relatively expensive - if that's what those wheels in the pic are (I didn't even expand the pic) but there are plenty of cheaper imitations.
  8. lol Roman I like how the Renault's kit is so big and unwieldy it needs strut bracing.
  9. I bought my wheels from Thuy at J-Imports indirectly from Japan. Ray's LMGT4's (18x8.5,18x9.5) in black. I would buy wheels from him again. In Springvale. Definitely worth checking out what Nam has available. Msg PhantomR32. Also heard great things about Streeter. Cheers.
  10. Took it to Chasers, bro. Saw Nam's bimmer in there too ready for some dyno lovin lol
  11. LAWL... nah it was in the shop... new tune... yeeeehaaaaw. Less flames though
  12. Spotted a beast of an Hyundai Excel of the Calder Fwy out near Sunbury on Tuesday night. Dark blue, fully kitted up with bonnet scoops, gauges including oversize rpm gauge. If the iphone could take a decent pic I would have one, but thats obviously not the case. I was VERY impressed. I'm surprised the guy/girl could get the car rolling with all that extra weight.
  13. The spotted thread is srs bidness. Double post FTW.
  14. Anyone spotted the beige KE70 with SAU stickers on it in Bayside/SE suburbs yet?? I've been driving Hamish's new drift pig around for the last couple of days

lawl Just quietly, I'm not sure a Getz is suitable
  16. Are you the concerned citizen who complained to the watchdog? *shifty eyes* GET HIM!
  17. Grats Rianto!

^^ What West said. Given the option though, I would not put chains on my LMGT4's. I'd do my best to beg borrow or steal a car more suited to the trip
  19. Update to post #433: Mods: HKS 2835 pro s Tomei 256 poncams PFC greddy exhaust cam gear sard 800cc injectors Bosch 044 fuel pump Z32 afm Greddy Profec B Spec II 3" HKS Silent HiPower Exhaust (no cat) HPi FMIC/Exedy Clutch/CAI/HKS Pod 294.5rwkw @ 17psi on PULP with room to move. Super responsive. Boost by 3200rpm with full boost shortly after. My actuator went soft (haha) so i can't run any more boost at the moment, not that I would want to on stock internals with PULP.
  20. I've got a black one. I reckon the silver does look a bit cheap. Holds boost well, great EBC for the price range.
  21. Washer bottle can definitely be made to fit by rotating it 90 degrees. I ran without a washer bottle for ages, then finally got motivated to put the car on stands and try it out. Easy fix
  22. Definitely a good point. Spirited driving, which is far less attractive in something like a 3L Magna, will have you churning through the fuel.
  23. I thought it was more artistic from a marketing and advertising point of view rather than a classically artistic POV. Anyway, in a lot of cases we are WORSE OFF than America. Free speech tends to keep a few avenue's open for American's that we don't have available to us.
  24. Sounds like your turbo is operating normally to me. The sound you are hearing is most likely induction noise. Is the car stock?
  25. Didn't read every reply, so this has probably been said a few times but... That ad was artistic, and very well thought out concept.... what is wrong with us?? what is going wrong in australia? It's all gone pear shaped.
